I arrived 10 minutes early for my sons haircut. When I arrived 3 ladies were sitting at the front desk and the hairstylist walks toward the chair saying follow me (no1 greeted or acknowledged me greeting them). The stylist asked what style I wanted for my son. I turned to ask my 7 year old what he wanted and the stylist got annoyed saying the place is packed today so we need to decide quickly. (To be clear!! The shop was empty!! We were the only customers) she then started cutting without my instruction and I then asked for short back and side with a scissor. Again she was annoyed and just continued.. I would not recommend them.. to anyone!!

My happy place!! If you’re looking for a great nail job I highly recommend Carmen- she is phenomenal!I have been going for facials with Taryn and my skin has improved drastically. Very good facial products too. Well worth the visit.

My pamper sesion always a plus @ Skin PHD Plattekloof Village Centre. We as woman need me time to. The ladies are all verry friendly and helpful.

I dont recommend getting your hair done here. Even though the staff is friendly, I dont think they have proper training. I went to get ash blond highlights and a few layers. I now have weird white/grey stripes in my hair and a big grey piece at the back of my head. The layers look like someone just hacked at my hair and arent blended in at all. You really dont get what you pay for. It really is a shame, Ive had a really nice facial and massage there before, but now Im going to think twice before using any of the other services. :(

My daughter got a voucher for mothers day from her school which was such a lovely and unexpected treat! Unfortunately the experience was not as enjoyable. The lady who did our hair threw such an unprofessional tantrum at the front desk when it came time to pay and actually ruined it for us. The front desk told me the voucher is not valid Monday to Thursday but there are no t& on the voucher only an expiry date. Then when the stylist saw it was only my daughters hair that was being paid for she started to tear up the voucher infront of me and my daughter and then stormed off!!!! I have never experienced such unprofessional and uncomfortable treatment at any business before. My daughter looked up at me and said what did we do wrong.DO NOT GIVE VOUCHERS IF YOU DONT LIKE ACCEPTING THEM.honestly, I will never ever come here and will also be letting her school now what happened. Very disappointing service from such a well known chain.

Ive had the most incredible experience with Debbie since my best friend referred me to her. She has done all my waxes ever since (which is very personal to me) and now she is doing my Laser treatments for me and I am SOOOOOOOOO happy with the results and the professional service she gives. I always feel like I am a VIP client everytime I go. My expectations have been exceeded!! 10/10 is recommended to her & Skin PHD Plattekloof who is always neat. She is also very accommodating as I can only go in my lunchtime and am always 5 min late. I felt completely transformed and at ease the whole time. I’ve had so many compliments, and of course my partner is super impressed!

Worst experience ever.I will never recommended anyone to go there. I went there for a highlight, trim and requested for the front of my jair to be layered. My hair was at the base of my back, bu the way. Got out of there with a terrible cut..now try hair is at my shoulder..just a trim, ya right. Manager didnt bother. Went back twice to sort out the issue...made worse.

I always have my nails done here when on holiday. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend Carmen for nails.

I bought my husband a full body massage voucher the beginning of December.Last week I phoned to make an appointment for him,the lady did not ask for his name but I on 2 occasions gave his name and confirmed it was a voucher for an hour long full body massage.She confirmed the appointment was for the 23rd at 12.This morning I received an SMS confirming the appointment was at 12:15.He pitches for the appointment at 12 to be welcomed by much confusion,they did not have an appointment for him but for my 83year old Mother who visited them a few months back.My only assumption was the lady who scheduled the appointment just took my phone number and thought she was being clever not to note my husbands name and used the name last used for my phone number. Not only was he only seen to at 12:25 but the appointment ended at 13:00.If you do the calculation you can see thats not a full hour!!!! Its not my fault that you are busy and cant cope as you should not take appointments if you know you cant cope.This is the last time I shall be supporting Skin PhD.

I was told I was late when I was not. My pedi had to be redone whilst I was having my facial....My facial had to be the roughest and noisiest facial ever. I had booked another appointment for March for 7 different treatments and after this experience cancelled it....nobody seemed to care that this business was lost. I at least would have expected a phone call but I guess the manager or owner was never told about an unhappy client or lost business. I saved for this costlier than average treat and am upset that my hard earned money was wasted.

Unfortunately, my daughter had a very bad hair colouring done here. The stylist did not know how to colour, as per her request. Training needs to be done with the stylists here.

I just wanted to soak of my gel nail polish and I specifically asked her not to file my nails , she soaked my nails three times 30 minutes my nails soaking in acetone and then she start buffing the nail , then she tells me that she’s done I look at my nails SHE BUFFED MY NAILS TIP OFF and there was still gel polish on , i am sure that lady don’t know how to do nail it’s was my worst experience ever , horrible horrible service will never go back there again
