The NO Appointments system in 2021 is the biggest pain point at Legends! One would have thought that almost 4 years later they would have digitized the place by now BUT no we must still write our details on a piece of paper and wait in line, for hours in some instances. We still go back cause the barbers are great at what they do but im not sure how long before we are fed up and had to other places where customer experience is a focal point of the overall brand engagement and experience! Whats so hard about implementing a booking system? Happy to actually consult with them in this space!

This system they are using to book clients are the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. There is no order at all and you have to wait in line while others just come in and get assistance. No system at all.

Second time I find it closed during the week...we not updated when the store temporarily closes for renovations or whatever other reason

The guys are brilliant don’t go on a hot day as it gets mad hot. The store looks awesome and atmosphere is great. The cuts they give are brilliant. The barbers are helpful and will make sure you leave happy.

The service is awesome in this place.But you need to be a person whos fine with being in a noisy place because sometimes they play music really loud.Which is a good thing if you dont want your barber getting distracted trying to comment on what is being said. Which is what we all dont really like

Afyer waiting for at least an hour, I met BO, short light skinned guy who talks a lot... My experience with him was not great. Talked a lot and was not into what he was doing. This guy did not pay attention to what he was doing, i had to speak to him about his behavior, he is cutting my hair and not paying attention. First instance he seemed to listen, saw that I was unhappy and asked what was wrong did not respond because I felt disrespected. After that he happened to notice some ladies outside, He just couldnt resist and he pursued them while i waited in the chair AGAIN!... Not a great experience for a Premium hair cut drove all the way from Tableview and was not happy. Please improve.

No client wants to hear about your complaints and more even complaints about other clients. After requesting to be cut with a certain clipper dont force me otherwise. The walking in and out while cutting a clients hair, talk over each other, playfulness, playing music from someones phone and strange clips playing ,not wearing a mask I can mention more issues.I have had better better experience at other branches under the Legends group in Johannesburg. We will certainly not visit this store again.

Very Poor!! Absolutely appalling service! SHOCKING! Took 3hrs to get cut, yet I went in at opening time.The Barbers there are more focused on chatting to each other about Girls and Alcohol, as opposed to cutting hair, they took 2 hours per client while lines where so long with people waiting. The Barbers keep walking in and out the store, while clients wait. 4 guys gave up and left.Worse! Masks are hardly covering thier mouths while they shout across the room chatting about their booze weekends. Highly unprofessional staff shame. Ill definitely not be going back. 1/5!!!

I tried this barber shop for the first time as a friend recommended it to me. I must say, I am definitely not sorry. I dont think I have ever had my hair as meticulously faded as I did by Duane. He took his time and really did an absolute great job. I will definitely be going back to him for my next cut. I chose not to cut the top, so no fault of his. Attention to detail is next level.

I believe in changing my view when new information comes to light. And I must say, my view of this barbershop has changed over time and Ive just stopped going there because theres no change - things are getting worse. Dont get me wrong, they are good and the brand has become popular with many branches of the shop in the country and outside of SA.That said, I have become frustrated with this Cape Town branch due to their system. The shop doesnt take bookings which means they do walk ins which fine with me. And I understand that with this system, you should expect to wait a bit for your turn. However, the waiting times are now extremely long. I am not kidding when I say you can wait your turn for two hours or more. And just when youre getting excited that the wait is almost over, its highly likely that several people who had registered before and left the shop would start streaming which means youll be waiting again. The communication has deteriorated as well. You are just expected to sign your name and wait. And for some reason, they never have a full team of barbers. So you have a situation of a long list of people and few barbers who also seem to have no sense of urgency. I think with the brand growing and the name becoming well known, they have become complacent especially as people do wait for them. They are slow, but will give you a good haircut.So, feel free to go there if youre not in a hurry and I encourage you to pack lunch or eat before going.

People travel quite long to get their hair done by Legends barber.My experience with Legends barber shop:1- people think that u can phone and make an appointment, i also thought it was like that but this service is no longer avalible.2- if u are going there put in your mind that u can be in a queue for long time i waited 3 hours.3- the service is very poor, in my opinion they need better training.4- the service is too slow, to cut one person take like an hour.Your pay R150 to get a decent cut and that doesnt happenPeople are just following the name, they know that i am going to the Legends barber, Ill look amazing.THAT IS A BIG DELUSION.

Quality depends on who your barber is, high variability. Some are good, the one I got cannot fade and does not know how to use a blade.

Myself and a buddy got in at 12:52 waited over 2 hours to get a haircut and decided to leave. Whats the average time for a haircut?With 4 barbers available surely waiting more than 2 hours should not be possible. The staff talent offered looks great but lack of energy and time spent is a bit ridiculous I have to say.Guess I have to keep 5 hours of my day free for a haircut that should take hour or less.... J

You have to wait so long in the Que and then when you finally there then youd think because its so pricey that they would wash your hair before cutting it but wasnt the case at all.The guy who did my hair didnt know how to cut hair with a sciccors, my hair was very unevenly cut and I am extremely disappointed.I have to now go to another barber shop to fix what they have done.My first and last time.

They do a good job but you wait too long. I waited for two hours. The barbers are too loud and playful and hence they make too many mistakes as well. Barbers also arrive late on weekends.

I was turned back at 12:10 when the closing time clearly states 13:00 on a sunday. Very disappointed as there was only 3 clients in the shop. Rather change closing time to 12 if you guys are gonna chase people away an hour before. Very poor from your part.
