Sunday July 15. Lunch Buffett....what a royal treat! Welcome drinks on arrival on a most elegantly laid table. Not expecting much...i was so pleasantly suprised to find a carvery...lamb and beef and yorkshire puddings...yum yum. Ths buffett has the perfect combination of mains and sides dishes, a garden fresh salad bar and decadent dessert station...they truly have all their bases covered. It is booking essential...but for R185 all your celebrations can be had here...bdays 40th...50th etc...anniversaries...alles!! Upstairs ther is a pool table to occupy the teens as well as a football table. We will be back and we will be spreading this new find of ours...a gem on our southern suburbs doorstep! U must try it. U wont be dissapointed. All the staff are friendly, active, present and involved!!

Buffet breakfast for R180 per person. A spread of pastries, cereals, hot oats, a small variety of cheese and biscuits. A good selection of fresh fruit and yogurt served in individual glass jars. Eggs to order, pork sausage and bacon, chicken sausage, mushrooms and fried tomatoes. Delicious cuppucino and tea included in the price. It can be noisy with the TV on for sports people. Overall the food and service was good. This is inside the Southern Sun Hotel in Newlands. No pretty views to a garden and no outside seating in a courtyard, hence my overall 3-star rating.
