Great Experience, Obviously the views are the highlight. We had mini burger sliders platter to share, it was alright, not great but not bad. We did however have the most amazing milkshakes. Do yourself a favour and ask for Roland (the Bar Supervisor) and ask for some surprise milkshake tasters. Its not on the menu but they are incredibly creative and served a set of 3 unique mini milkshakes that blew us away. Certainly be back for milkshakes as they were the best weve ever had.

The most fantastic experience with Mr Angus taking us on a whisky and food pairing experience. Lovely and friendly staff , not to mention delectable food that will tantalize any food lovers taste buds as your overlook a beautiful balcony that encompasses the sea and cumulonimbus clouds of the cape. A must go to for any tourist or local !

We were so disappointed as we heard good reports about the place. The food really wasn’t good...The grilled fish was dry and the rice accompanying the curry was dry. The steak was overdone. On top of this, the fact that they have an ideal location and a sense of olde world charm and class seems to carry through to a vague snobbishness.

Whilst the view is really fantastic, you arent able to fully enjoy it on a summers day as there no coverage so you will likely take your high tea indoors which I assume isnt the expectation when you book tea by the sea.Regardless the items melt quickly, and were not fresh. The staff were polite but all seem rather stressed.The tray looked very pretty but an egg mayo sandwich? In fact only sandwiches as savoring, s quiche or so may be recommended. Not 12 Apostles standards.I would recommend the high tea at the Table Bay Hotel much rather.

I’ve had my mom visiting from KZN, and we’ve been to a couple of eateries in and around Cape Town. The highlight has got to be High Tea at the 12 Apostles. Stunning combination of savory and sweet, the freshest ingredients all beautifully prepared, with a vast selection of bottomless coffee and tea available in various forms (iced, milkshake, etc). The service was incredible - knowledgeable, friendly staff and management, who visited our table regularly without being intrusive. Add to that the spectacular view on a magnificent winter day, and you have the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Great place to enjoy your sundowners on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our drinks with the free bar snacks of olives, nuts and corn nibs. Bar area is tastefully decorated and has a cosy feel to it - ideal for a wintery evening.

We were over charged on each item we ordered. Luckily we checked the bill against the nenu items we had ordered. Our food came to R500 - the bill presented was R590!! When we showed our waiter the price discrepancy he returned with another bill reduced by R30. However there was a R90 overcharge - .needless to say we paid for what we ordered and left feeling very disappointed in the staff. Where is the managenent ??

Excellent service, delicious vegan high tea and a view to die for.

Lovely ambiance, lovely setting and friendly staff but the high tea was a let down!. The sweet section was so sweet it was for me inedible. Sandwiches were ok. Unfortunately I felt it was not value for money. The Profiteroles were stale. There was not enough elegance or attention paid to the quality of the food.

Very unique decorations, friendly staff and very willing to help. The tea by the sea was lovely although there are other high teas that I personally enjoy more. The views and the drive there is just as lovely. Worth the experience.

Attended Tea by the Sea. Horrible experience. Received food that was not halaal after specifically requesting halaal food and then leaving unhalal food on the table. So much for being halal respectful. Food was below par, bread hard, with little filling, macaroons chewy, eclairs hard and i am convinced that food was not fresh. Best thing on the menu was plain scone. Really disappointing experience.

I really like this bar, especially for sunsets on the balcony. Lovely deco and vibe. Parking space can be challenging.

The food was bland, I had to go overboard with the salt and pepper and the chillies. The cocktails were also not memorable. The service was good however I wouldnt recommend it unless you want to visit the hotel.

Lovely views, great place to catch a drinkBeautiful views from the verandah. We had drinks as well as the fish and chips and sticky chicken wings (BBQ). They were pretty good. Service is good too But the best thing about the place has to be the views.

My mother, sister and I had the most wonderful experience at The Leopard Bar. I would highly recommend adding a High Tea at the Leopard Bar to you bucket list.The service was exceptional - from the waiter, to the manager to the welcoming staff. Our waiter was on the ball and delivered a very friendly and mindful service and she was also able to offer some advice on the teas.My sister has a very long list of dietary requirements which I conveyed to the Groups and Events Manager, Zanette. Zanette communicated my sisters requirements to the Chef - which includes no gluten, dairy, sugar, soy, and many more. The food was amazing! It was beautiful and delicious. The Chef made an amazing personalized high tea menu for my sister which allowed her to enjoy the high tea with as much (or even more) tasty and beautiful options as my mother and I. It made our day to be able to include my sister in the high tea. They also offer a vary wide variety of teas and if you do not want tea, they also have many other hot beverages which you can choose from.And to top everything off - they have to most amazing view of the ocean!I would definitely visit again.Thank you to all the Leopard Bar staff for making our visit exceptional.

Beautiful sea and Mountain View’s , 5 star service

I cant believe Twelve Apostles is a 5 star establishment. I booked for a gin and canape tasting a few days in advance, the day before someone phoned me to confirm my booking, however reached my voicemail. They requested me to phone back and confirm my booking (you dont ask your customers to phone back, you phone back). Regardless, I phoned them to confirm and the guy that answered couldnt confirm my booking as he first had to check the system - I had to phone back after 10 mins after he checked the system. I phoned back after exactly 10 mins just to find out that he had left the bar, turned out the guy that answered this time was the one who made my booking originally and couldnt understand why I phoned to confirm my booking as he made it a few days before. Needless to say I cancelled and took my friend elsewhere. Unprofessional lot!

Immaculate food in a unique and stylish venue. Will definitely return, if just for the sunset and the to-die-for fillet.

We were 4 people for drinks for sundwoner. Waited 10 minutes before getting the drinks menu and been told that wine would be better as cocktails will take more time as bar is full.... service is very very slow, even to Capetonian standard.

Luscious linguini from the lovely lighthearted leopard staff in a luxurious lounge looking out over the lush landscape lookout. Legit.

The food was ok but the service was the real letdown. The staff mostly ignored us for the evening.

The note concerns the High Tea (the vegetarian is a little better) which is not worth it. The quality of the sweet items is really not that great, only the small savory sandwiches are okay.Come just for the setting and the view which is worth the trip.
