Very happy with the quality of the food and the friendly service recieved from the staff. If you want something sweet and refreshing i recommend you try the rum and raspberry on tap, was good. Food also fresh and flavourful

Manager refused to serve us Beer just because it was load shedding and he didnt feel like writing down our 3 or 4 beers because he would have to capture it later.Clearly Beer house doesnt like cash.

While the variety of beer, although not as extensive as prelockdown, is decent, the food is not recommendable at all. The 100g patties feel more like 50g, and do not cover most of the bun. The cheese they put on burgers is also some sort of generic cheese spread that is squished out of a tube. Although they are Beerhouse and I respect their focus on beer, I feel that the food they offer is wholly unreasonable for its price point.2 stars for a good variety of good beer.

I went here for a family get together and celebration with the expectation it was going to be similar to the long street, which ended up being far from the case.Barren walls, only 10 beers and they even ran out of Coca-Cola…The food wasn’t terrible tasting at all, but most food was cold, and majority of the starters were again out of stock, while they already have a limited Covid-19 menu with only Pizza and Burgers…

What a terrible experience for my sons birthday. The musicj is overpowering and the food is terrible. They have literally run out of everything. Even coke! They don’t even have enough beers to do a beer tasting Which is what the beer house is all about! Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. We thought it would be the same experience as the Long Street branch but it was completely opposite

The waitor was friendly and checked up on us regularly, he was well informed of all the wine that they served. The gin was amazing and the burger! Jager bombs is always great

The menu is amazing( and super cheap). I love the idea of the sizes of beer that you get to choose from. And if you are unsure of what you ask you can ask for a small taster to make up your mind. Food was really good( loved the way the present the chicken strips and chips). I had the acholic ice tea it is to die for.

Nice vibe for the younger croud. Food is very nice. Pizza crust is super thin, just the way we like it. Burgers juicy and platters are very unique. Service also very good. I like the variety of food and drinks to choose from. Qute menu.

The beer was cold and the service friendly, but the decor is as loud (Bright yellow!!) as the music. Also, the music only caters for one preference instead of being more general. No atmosphere of relaxation at all.

I really wanted this place to be as good as the one in Long Street. Service was great and beer too.But unfortunately the food was really disappointing. I ordered a 300g Sirloin (Medium) with chips. The steak was well done and chips cold. Husband had the ribs which was ok. He ordered chips too but it only arrived halfway through our meal. The kitchen definitely needs a lot of work for it to be at the standard of the other branch.We did give our waiter feedback and he apologized profusely on behalf of the establishment and ensured he will give our comments back to the kitchen.Beerhouse please be better, we truly want you to be a success!

After waiting the whole year for this, Im happy to say Ive not been disappointed. Sure there were some hiccups but it is only day two after their first official opening so it did not spoil my time spent. Enjoyed a juicy pulled pork burger, some nice cold beers, excellent selection of alternative rock music, what more could you want. What a disappointment. We always go to Beerhouse in Long street. want to try Tygervalley, because its nearby. Service was 50%, Nearly nothing in stock on beer what you look for , but on the black board they advertise the beer. No chicken wings, nearly nothing available on the menu we were looking for. Most of the waiters didnt wear their masks, just hang on their neck. Clients walk in without masks, and walk around in beerhouse without it. very loud. food that was available was good.

I really enjoyed the fact that it has booths, which is relaxing. The food is good value for money. We order 4 starters which was enough for 3 people.The were very busy with the pay day drinks after work so I could see our waitress was struggling.Also a tiny bit sad they were sold out of gin n tonic on tap.But overall good experience.

We use to love going here but I dont think we will be going back again. Very disappointed in the food. If you wanna go for drinks and not eat then this is fine for you.

They have a wide selection of beers, a great place if you love beers. Food is also fantastic.

I freaken LOVE Beerhouse. However, this was such a disappointing experience compared to the original Beerhouse in Long Street. They had almost NO beers, the beers that were offered had empty kegs, no tastings were allowed except for an independent source outside, the food options were not all available and the service was so slow. I took beer lovers here just to feel so embarrast and disgusted actually, after raving about Beerhouse. The only reason why I didnt give one star is because the theme was still there and our waiter really tried to match up whatever little beers they had to some classics that wasnt available.

Only could taste 12 craft beers lacked atmosphere but staff was helpful

Never received such horrible service before, swearing from waiter, manager threw some weird tantrum when the waiter was at fault. Had to seat ourselves, after sitting for 20min we had to call a waiter to assist, waiter literally came and said give me 5 min came back after almost 15min. We had to ask for out table to be cleaned. The food was good though. Service not even one star, this is the second time the service received. Very disappointing

The place to be on a warm summer day. Away from the hustle and bustle of the usual eateries and watering holes in the CBDs. Friendly staff, nice vibe, great music, AWESOME food , but they ran out of two of my favourite drinks.

Great place to try new beers and amazing food! And these are no usual beer crafts, theirs are actually legit nice! Especially the strawberry beer!

Ordered pizza for the first time through Mr D and it was terrible! It was like the cheese was processed cheese, didnt even melt. I literally feel sick to my stomach, the mushrooms also tasted old. I was starving and was looking forward to eating this pizza. Highly disappointed

The quality of the food and beer is exceptional... The beer is really great! The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because of 2 issues i had. When arriving to the restaurant, I had to meander about to a seat without the assistance of a waiter which then resulted in me waiting quite some time to have my order taken. After some time my beer order finally arrived. It was worth the 15 minute wait. 15 minutes may not seem like a long time, but imagine sitting in a relatively quiet restaurant on a hot summers day after the lunch hour on a Sunday....Lastly it seemed that my waiter was investing her time in a table which had more patrons (understandably so) as they might have needed more attention... But I was neglected to the point where the manager had to bring me a menu and another waiter had to remove my dishes once I was done...A for team work though, if that is was was intended, who does the tip go to?I would love to try out the other branches to compare the awesome beer and food

Great experience! The beverage knowledge and suggestion are A rated or S even in my opinion. As someone thats not a craft beer fan, this place changed my mind. If youre in the same mind set as I was, you havent found your beer! Food is fantastic!

Recommended for a chilled drink. Rory our waiter was really well informed and held us by the hand brilliantly to taste the brews that he advised based upon our preferences. The manager was attentive but not intrusive. The pizza was yummy and well priced. Get to the Beer House, you will not regret it.

They didnt have a variety of beers that I wanted and I had to option for beers that I didnt want to taste.

Really enjoyed my time. Food is amazing and drinks are on fleek😋🤗😊. Even my waiter Clint was nice. I just didnt like the fact that there was no host to assist us as we were walking around looking for an empty table and seats. But overall its a good place to be at.

Most amazing food.... But.... When last did you wipe down your menus. Cleaning has taken a back foot. And this for a new store. The special board on the table ended a couple of days ago. Waiter was friendly and helpful, but no manager on duty.( Unless it was the chap sitting and eating in the front of the store). Would have given one star if it wasnt for our awesome waiter.

Had the displeasure of visiting this establishment. Went to this Beerhouse with the idea that it might be similar to the one in the CBD. Oh how wrong I was.90 percent if the beers are out of stock? I mean for a place that specialises in beer hiw does this help the situation? No menu to order beers from, no descriptions of the beers. I mean I could be drinking any beer then.We get greeted from above while walking to the establishment. This is not how you receive customers. To my surprise no COVID measures in place. No scanning. No masks. No sanitizing stations. It just one big free for all.The restrooms are appalling. Makeshift beer kegs for urinals? Constantly splashing pee all over the floor? Madness if you ask me.The waiter that assisted us seemed to be high of something. Could barely look me in the eyes and tell me what beers that have for me to purchases.All in all. This establishment will not see my service again.

The staff are friendly, food is great and obviously the beer is brilliant. The suggestions they make are also great. Service could be better though as you get left alone without follow up for up to 15-20min at a time.

The staff are great here. They are friendly and accommodating, I kind of think that all of these people rating it a 1 star do not know anything about working in a restaurant on an opening week which is meant to be a trial by fire. The food is excellent as always and it is such a great location. Will definitely become a regular here.

Good place but always ask for Michelle. She’s the best. The other guy sucks and will tell you that you must tip him 10%. I will tip what you deserve and if Michelle was our waitress she would have gotten much more than 10%. But dude don’t tell me I have to tip you 10%. Really put me off. Bad attitude from the waiter we had tonight.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special service from our waiter/manager (Siwaphiwe,kyle),The Beer was just great its all a person could ask for after a long day !!! We will definitely be visiting again...
