Best place to be. Ground floor if you want to eat, drink and chill. Second floor its for party animals. Nice specials every day after seven.

This Irish pub has delicious food with generous portions. The staff is also very friendly. And theres live bands that play from time to time. It also looks wonderful inside.

Visited during the week with my brother, just the casual bar hopping. Was nice to see they have live band playing.. had a great time and then even took some requests.

Many a tale to tell of the good ol Dubliner. Classic bar food menu, cheap beer and the music is usually quite fun. Fits pretty much any type of night youre looking for.

This is an excellent bar thats been operating ever since I can remember. The staff is friendly and the place is kept secure and safe. The music is great, with the live band playing 5 or 6 sets with a DJ in between. The live performances are superb and they really get the party going. Keep up the high standards.

Very nice, very lively.....many patrons, just keep on flowingCity Center late night/early morning entertainment.Consist of two bars/ dancing areas. Ground floor have life music and DJ music while the upstairs area play disco. Plenty of patrons, no cover charge.....drinks are slightly pricey but then if its after two in the morning beggars cant be choosers. What I experienced was a well run, with good security establishment.

We enjoyed the fact that you had options to go upstairs or downstairs for different genres of music. Attention to detail, someone just took my chair, the bouncer came with another chair for me. 😀Liked that. Thank you.

Amazing, that Im not allowed in, cause apparently wearing safety boots, discovered by the bouncer, as Im from Canada visiting and add I pointed out, that they were actually R3500 saleomon hiking boots, I was asked to leave, really... Judging by the crowd inside, it was obvious I didnt fit in, possibly my gender per the fact that I didnt look like the average mine worker that frequents the place.

Being addicted to Guiness this is the place to go in Cape Town. This is Ireland in Africa. Best is to sit outside have a few pints and watch the people pass by. Get involved and suck in Cape Town or at least Long Street. Food options also not to bad. And if you are lucky there is some band playing. Plenty fun.

Great pub with great atmosphere. A worth while evening and/or day time pub with separate smoking, live music and dancing areas.Being situated on Cape Towns famed Long street, and you tire of all the other placed along the strip, go to The Dubliner.

The classic pub atmosphere with a dollop of western style music from the always hilarious live musical artist. A great vibe is always going on the weekends and it tends to bring in the best of people to enjoy the vibe. Bouncers at the door make things peaceful and the exclusive party upstairs is always a nice secret if you want to spend a little extra cash to have some more fun. Drinks are well price and service is relatively quick.

Good place to go with the guys and out for a good time. Some time away from home. Good clean fun. Not like the usual in Long Street. Very chilled and a cool place to visit. Was my first time and will definitely return.

Nice place to go for a night out. Safe and drinks are reasonably priced. Best to stay off long street and stay inside a venue. Long Street can be dangerous because of all the pickpockets.

Pity to see the Dubliner went backwards. It was always a clean place with a great vibe and very good service and food. Now it is the opposite. Disappointed to see. I will not go back.

This place is amazing. Downstairs theres a bar and live performances from bands and then you walk upstairs to find a dance floor with a DJ who plays great dance music. Start the night off- chilled downstairs and end up never leaving and going up stairs for a totally different vibe. Theres a balcony upstairs where you can go out for fresh air and theres also another bar.

Always have been a great hangout and will continue to be great. Everyone feels at home

Served by one of the staff behind the bar - older large guy most probably the owner. He was very rude, bill came to 180 ZAR, when i paid with a 200 ZAR note, he demanded a tip, (even though it was a bar and not table service) he was very intimidating and refused to me give change out of a 200 ZAR note!

We love this venue because they cater to a lot of different people and tastes. Downstairs is usually live music that features rock and 90s and 2000s music, and upstairs is more of a dance club for the younger crowd. We like to spend the night going back and forth between upstairs and downstairs to keep things interesting. The staff are always very friendly as well.

This is a nice pub situated in long street of Capetown cbd. For those who seek the company of foreigners and to learn culture of others this is the place for you. This is one of the strangest pubs I have ever been to. It might have been the day we went or something - it was a Saturday night just before midnight. Very strange music, DJ and crowd in general. The staff were friendly though

Almost empty troughout the day until late (fills up at 2am when the other plaves close). Great fish and chips. Good beer selection. They show sports on two screens.

I have never had a good experience here. Bouncers are always arrogant and dont mind pushing you around whether its at the door or on the dancefloor.Bathrooms are always dirty. I had a really bad time last year and and decided to give it another go recently, nothing has changed. There are always people sitting around the bar and around the dance floor staring at you awkwardly. Very uncomfortable

We went on a Friday night their was live music which was mellow rock but as it was just after midnight and every other bar was packed but this bar was empty and the atmosphere was not great. This bar would have been great if the vibe was there.

Always a tv on so you can watch all your favourite games. Menu has a nice selection of beers and food, but some of them are out of date, mine had a beer listed that they dont have for over a year... Food was fair enough, but thats definitely not their strenghts
