I am so impressed with the service I received at the Gardens Centre ABSA branch today! After several terrible interactions with ABSA staff, both in person and especially with the call centre, I have to thank Angelo and Tiana for their high level of service and their excellent manner with clients. Their manner has restored some of my confidence in ABSA - which has steadily deteriorated in client service, especially in the last 8 years. Thanks and well done Angelo and Tiana - well recruited staff!

ABSA staff need a serious attitude adjustment. The Gardens Centre branch is an embarrassment to this already sad institution. This has been going on for many years and complaints are never heeded. Only fools would stay with this bank. Shame on you, ABSA.

I tried calling this branch as I want to open an account there and to invest a lot of money with them.Nobody is available to speak to when I call (that is, when my calls get answered)!!I was told by the receptionist to e-mail ‘Ms Thembakazi Smith’, which I did, but I am yet to be graced with a reply!Well I will be contacting FNB now, hopefully they would be interested in my money!!!

Shocking service. Waited 50 minutes just to update a bank link on my phone. you can do this on line with FNB.

Quick and easy... The service was quick and my issues was resolved within a few minutes. Always just check when you go it can become busy during lunch time

Slowest service Ive had at an ABSA branch for while. Will not use this branch again. Staff just get up and leave for lunch, leaving customers queued and maybe one clerk at the fort. I dont know what to say besides pathetic. No care for the customer. Branch manager should be ashamed of herself.

I only visited once, which is not really enough to rate a service that people rely on frequently. For what it counts, I was treated with professionalism, courtliness and plenty of smiles.

Awful service, very unfriendly staff that basically told us we cant be helped even though what needed to be done is well within their capability.

Worst experience of my life, have to go ask at least 4 different times for if you want to change one thing, and then you still get charged for services that you are not even using, and they wait at least 6 months to let you know that, your account was not closed properly so you end up still having to pay the bank even when you think you are done with it.
