Best cheesecake! Great oxtail, but sometimes portions are a bit small! (However, management rectified). Friendly service, special menus for pensioners, e.g. reduced prices for combo meals like cake & coffee etc. Meals and cakes etc can be bought to take home also.

What a find! I stumbled across this place when visiting the amazing butcher shop (Joeys) next door.They have amazing baked goods from cakes, tarts, pastry dishes, vetkoek and many more. Their take away pies are very popular. We had the sausage roll, bobotie and pepper steak. All were freshly baked, very tasty, filling and high quality.The cafe seems cozy and definitely very popular, although we didnt visit that part so cant comment on service.The staff at the bakery were very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the tills are a bit stiff and seemed bored with the customers, but that didnt detract from my experience as they certainly were not rude. A great place to get your home baked goods. It has the best milktarts around. Nothing comes close to it. The pastry is fresh and crispy, and the milktart mixture is light and fluffy, with a beautiful creamy texture.Oh yes and they have a wonderful selection of other cakes, tarts, Pines and saviourys delights on offer.Not to forget that they have a little tea room to enjoy your cake.This is a place where you can have your cake and eat it.

A great place to meet an old friend. The atmosphere is peaceful and the menu is fair. Specially catering for retirees is also a nice touch. And, of course, the sweet tooth section you can stroll through. Love this place.
