I go to Limnos somerset west often, however I was not impressed today which is sad to say my second bad experience with them. Got to the restaurant, I was told to take a seat cause I wanted a sit down lunch, and that someone was going to attend to me shortly. Needless to say I sat for 5+mins and no one came to clean the table nor to take my order. Thought Id wait another min or two and still did not get assisted. I literally up and left to another restaurant where I got assisted the minute I walked in. Poor customer experience for me. 🙁

Quick lunch a real treat for mom and my friend fav coffee shop in Somerset Mall treating my mom left and bible study mate right of pic perfect light lunch good sized portion of salads and quich impressive staff always attentive order perfect advise well and quite knowledgeable about the specials of the day as well as full offering do not hover at your table always serves with a smile my orders has always been perfect and never had to return a plate to kitchen small venue never feels overcrowded though excellent choice of sweet eats menu very seasonal and adapt to trends not very pricey but economical for big family with kids more adult like style eatery love the choice of vegetarian options i do miss the quich with fig preserve though discontinued was my fav quiche of all times had it two seasons ago usually spot matured adults seated and money walk ins for over the counter quick buys and not sitting down

Wanted some cakes to take home and after a less than welcoming reception I had the audacity to ask the lady behind the counter a question... Her body language made it evident that she didnt want to help me, so I made her life easier by telling her not to bother with the cakes. Decent customer service might help your turnover.

I was looking for an incredible piece of cake to go with my coffee. The cappuccino that I got was weak and lukewarm. The cake was phenomenal but only because I chose it without any assistance from the staff working there. I am a professional waitron and I know the difference between phenomenal service and doing the least to earn a wage. Guess which one I got? 😳

I would like the compliment the friendly staff and manager overseeing her staff. My two boys now 10 & 12 are always over the moon if we go to Limnos at Somerset Mall. Your breakfast is the best in the West. Compliments once again. !!!!!!

2 cappuccinos, freshest apple crumble, tastiest custard slice, we were already served within 10 minutes of being seated. Truly one of the best experiences in a long time. Fully recommend

The staff are totally rude and disrespectful, as I was getting a taster on offer I was shouted at in front of other customers and told that these are only for real customers and that she doesn’t have time for me. Amazing goods but quality of customer service is disgusting. Never felt so degraded in a restaurant in all my life.

Surprisingly disappointing. Having eaten there numerous times, I was very disappointed. Service was really not good. My son and I were the first customers there. I ordered the cake and coffee special, my son decided on pancakes and ice cream. The cakes selections given were all chocolate variations and one carrot cake.The cake was very dry and unappetising, and my cappuccino was in a kid size cup which couldnt be held properly. My son waited and waited for pancakes. His ice cream was almost melting onto the table and still no pancakes. The manager eventually went to the kitchen ask what was happening with the pancakes as other tables had received breakfast already.After we finished we sat waiting for our waitress to appear. She was more content to stand with her back to us chatting with the waiters. We eventually got up and went to the counter to ask for our bill to settle.Not value for money, not good service and definitely not good quality. I was also disappointed to see such a meagre selection of delicacies in the display cases. Certainly not used to Limnos like this. What has happened?

This coffee shop really is a cut above the rest... really has a good selection of sweet treats and great coffee. Look for their daily specials to save a few pennies!

As a huge Limnos fan, I recently paid a visit to the Somerset Mall branch and had some coffee and cake. Their cake and Macaroons are always fresh and the service was really great. I will definitely visit again and again in the very near future...

Service sucks! Sat there without a menu for 10 minutes. Waiters never showed up, as they were too busy playing with their phones. Was greated with a look of bovine indifference when asking for a menu. Please hire people who can at least speak English, instead of hiring barely sentient zombies just to save a few Rand...

Small sweet shoppe in the Mall with pastries and bakes and ice creams good enough to have for breakfast. If you think Im joking go there at 9am.

Limnos use to be great but their quality of some cakes are slipping.I understand that they make cakes im batches but om the last two occasions I have not beem impressed.Fairly expensive for a cake shop
