A bunch of our friends recommended Proof Bakery to us. After ordering some of their bread and croissants we can safely say they have the best artisanal bread and croissants in Cape Town! And we have tried pretty much every bakery out there in the Mother City! Sourdough simply exquisite, croissants to make you drool and baguettes youll never forget. Wow, that was good!

Quality products
Not impressed. Run of the mill bakery with nothing to rave about. The breads are under baked and lack flavour. Probably baked in an electric oven. Pastries are average.

Proof has the best Crossaints and Sour Dough in Cape Town by a mile. You will not be disappointed. Strongly recommend.
