This mall has been renovated including Checkers Hyper. The store has so much more to offer now, its definitely worth a visit! They now have a special chocolate section where you can find the most beautiful looking chocolate. They also have a café in store now, as well as a sushi bar - so cool to be able to have a quick sushi session in between your shopping time. They even have their own Kauai for those healthy meals and smoothies. While walking towards the other side of the store I noticed a wrapping station which can be quite convenient. Very impressed! Avoid going over pay weekend as the lines can be a bit hectic!

I ordered platters from the deli on short notice and your deli really did not disappoint. Will definitely order from you again.

Love the new Fairbridge Mall Layout as everything is perfectly designed, plenty of parking, but our problem is private motorcycle parking. Special Parking for Uber only are available. Would not dare to park with them

Definitely an improvement on the old one! A bit overwhelming at first with bright lights and little kiosks all over but overall great shop. Nice to have a Kuai and Soet Cakes in the store too. Very innovative design and store

Beautiful store with so much to offer from wine store, fruit & veg, coffee bar, sushi bar, bakery, health bar, appliances, large camping gear section, etc etc . Love shopping here and the queues are sometimes long but you never wait long.

Good service, helping security, kind cashiers. Not always friendly but people have bad days, I swear being kind to a cashier will actually make their day.

New look for the mall in Brackenfell. Love it, go and take a look. But dont all go at once Covid 19 is still out and about. Besafe, mask up and sanitize.

Beautiful addition to the Checkers family. Feels completely like walking into a European supermarket. Conveniently located in Brackenfell with easy access to the surrounding residential areas. The product variety and choices are vast. Well planned interior. Make sure that you have enough time for a relaxing cappuccino before you start your shopping experience.

What a lovely shop. Deli, sushi, chocolate counters look good. Staff were friendly.However :(There were no trolleys or baskets. People were standing outside waiting for them.The fruit and veg section is so small, squished into a corner with another counters queue in the middle of it. Very badly planned section.No signs in the middle aisles to show whats what.Staff unpacking with trolleys opposite each other in the aisle making it impossible to pass.In concept a great store, but when busy.. chaos.

I had an issue with food items bought at Checkers. I logged a complaint using the Checkers App. I was contacted the next day (Sunday) by customer services and the issue was resolved. Very impressed by the quick response and the way the matter has been dealt with.

New and modern Checkers Hypermarket is big but has very little in the way of Easter Eggs over Easter. Only Marshmallow Beacon eggs no other Beacon eggs. Miladys inside the center is very small and tight. Needs a bigger space. I saw a Taylir/ Dressmaker, Clicks , Pick n Pay Clothing, bottle store Jewlery store ,Crazy store. Auto Banks etc.

New store is amazing. You end up walking out with more than you intended to buy because everything looks so good.They roast their coffee beans in store, bought 2kg of beans so far, really good coffee.Got some toasted paninis this morning, really yummy and affordable.

It was a mixed experience I was exited to go as I drove past there before and did not have the time ....on our way we looked for a fan ...there was no one to help ..there is alot of checkers workers they all stand in little groups and chat ...not very helpfull... anyways I helped myself ...ok the nice part was the Suchi Bar rotating with lovely Suchi and real Suchi chefs

Friday morning, 05/03/2021, Excellent customer service from Atimi, the young man replenishing the chicken. He stopped what he was doing, went to the back and brought me a variety of options in what I needed and in different price ranges. So 5 Star service from him. Thank you Atimi. One of the reasons Ill always choose Checkers Hyper Brackenfell.

With the new upgrade the store looks amazing. Shelves are fully stocked, and clean. The queues are long but there are many checkouts open so movement is quick and easy.It is tricky to navigate to the parking lot because u basically have to walk through the fruit and vegetables department and then have to wait as people come inBut apart feom that an overall good experience

Should get 5 stars for upgraded store but seriously lacking hygiene training of staff. Employee (male) stood mask down behind and against the open glass display with uncovered lamb meat shouting to a friend afar, “hey Sissie”. Imagine how much fine mucus spray is all over that meat.Secondly, baristas should not touch cups where your mouth/lips connect to the cup.

Traffic in and out this place is terrible and congested by the robots. Not sure what they were thinking by closing off the back road entrance and exit. Then making it a one way in only. To travel back to the other shops at the station area is rediculous now. Everyone in the area knows the outdated Old Paarl road needs an serious upgrade as its constantly packed with cars no matter what day of the week. Ill skip this Hyper and visit the other Hyper, where traffic is easier in and out.

Bought insect pesticide and groceries this morning at this mall. asked the packer for a small bag to put the pesticide in so that it doesnt touch my groceries. Packer tells me they dont stock anymore small bags because its not environmentally friendly me (customer) have to ask the other tills for small bags. I had to walk around the shop to find a small bag. Found at the vegetable section. Packer also gave me attitude and both the packer and the supervisor cant think out of the box. If u want to re-invent your customer experience please start with your staff. Listen to the customer dont be arrogant and just listen.

Very nice and big Checkers. Offers all basic needs for customers and extended variety on food, toys, appliances and outdoor needs. Has a butchery and bakery. Meats are allways of high quality and orders can be given. Always a clean supermarket and good staff to help you with anything you need. I recommend people to shop here. All-round good supermarket.

I got what I came for. Competitive pricing and huge variety, I like this. Unfortunately this centre always seems to be closing down. Shops just dont last here. How does Checkers Hyper relate to this? Not that much, only its a bit depressing.

Great store, do my weekly shopping here. Seems to be under new management or guidelines have been changed. Perishables are sold at a lower price 1 day before the expiration date and removed the following day, raising the quality of the general produce. Havent had any issues.

Love this Cheakers... this is a hyper so there is a lot of stuff to shop. Allways friendly staff and this store has a moms and tots till that helps a lot with the young ones. Easy parking easy to find. This is a very large shop and you will love it give it a try. large meat section and a large fruit section. nice outdoor section and a good garden section.

One of the better stocked Checkers stores in Cape Town with a nice wide selection of premier Shoprite - Checkers brands. The mall in which the Hypermarket resides, Fairbridge Mall, does need a bit of a spruce up and a better tenant mix though.
