A huge selection of toys in a fun and well-lit environment.Some of the friendliest and most helpful service Ive had in years from any establishment.From walking me to exactly the toy I was looking for to asking if they could wrap it for me.Well done guys, this is how you run a store.

I visited Toy Kingdom Cape Gate on Sunday afternoon with my kids and the behaviour of your staff on duty was shocking. I went there with the intention of spoiling my kids with a treat from your store, but the experience was shocking and I had to grab my kids and leave. There was a banter about sweeping and mopping, middle fingers were exchanged (in front of me and the kids) and loud arguing back and forth between staff members made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. To top it all off one of the staff members (a female) emptied the Santa Letters box, again in front of my kids and proceeded to laugh at and ridicule the letters with her colleagues. She then (very loudly) told her colleagues that they throw all these letters away there at the back (she pointed to the back of the store). Upon realising what she had just said, she then changed the story to say they send it to head office for competition. All of this happened with my kids and other kids in full view and earshot. This is beyond upsetting at this is a toy store, my kids believe in Santa and were so sad to hear that letters were laughed at and chucked away. The vibe in the store was that of something you would expect in sporty teenage store, not a kids toy store. It is evident that your staff are not adequately trained as this is not the first time Ive experienced an off putting vibe in a Toy Kingdom store. We love your store, but will not be visiting your stores as the experience has upset my kids and exposed them to foul behaviour. I will be advising my friends and family to do the same as I would hate for any other kids to be subjected to that experience. Christmas is a magical time and Toy Kingdom put a damper on that for us.

The Friendly staff at this particular store are really great. Phoned and asked Nicola to keep an item aside for my daughter. When we arrived the item was ready for us at the paypoint and cashier was amazing. She asked me for my cellphone number and gave me an option to use my cash rewards which was never offered to me by other toy kingdom stores. Overall 5 star service.

Three stars, only because it sells genuine Lego, not some toy underworld fake. Two stars short of 5 because most of the toys are a nightmare of plastic, designed to turn our children into drooling zombies. But, there are 4 stars, you say. Yes, because as I was writing, I recalled the friendly and fun staff. They are, like us parents, victims of banal consumerism. Fueled by our idiotic guilt and terror that our child will be unhappy. As I have discovered, with this reviewing lark, the staff are the key. They can even redeem a barbie, marvel, disney fake of plastic. To the staff of Toy Kingdom...kudos you were helpful, had a sense of humour and did your level best to convince me that I needed a loyalty card.

I bought a bubblegum tablet on March 26 on March 27 and the headphones are broken would like a replacement. Due to the Lockdown unable to take back . My son is super sad

Okay first of all, dont ask to people if they are dating. service was amazing, they allowed us to ride around with the scooter and build lego. the service r really friendly
