Great shades with windows that make a formerly windy veranda usable year round. They were installed quickly and some minor snagging sorted by the team within days.

Would never do business with them again. Product work until the smallest thing breaks. Then they claim the repair is to small for their attention. The owner Julian then just ignores you. You have been warned

Craig & Di Featherby31 Peter Cloete AveConstantia Upper78061 August 2017INSTALLATION: AA SHADESThis is a letter I have been meaning to write for absolute months and here I sit today on a cold, wet rainy day almost 9 months later and remain ever so grateful that me made the decision to use AA Shades for the installation of our blinds.We reside in Constantia Upper, which is meant to be mostly wind-free, however, (I don’t believe there is any area in entire Cape Town that is totally wind-free). Our problem was that the rain blows off the mountain at an angle onto the front of our home which lead to damp and even water leaks into our beautiful living room and veranda social area. There is nothing worse than having to run downstairs at midnight and wake to sodden towels all over the windows. The veranda side is worse as we have shutters as opposed to glass and rain would run in as far as touching our outdoor dining and lounging area but after this installation by AA Shades we no longer have that stress.Ron was assisting Julian and was our initial introduction to the company, such a gentleman and got straight to measuring up. Before we made our final decision he was accompanied on another meeting by the owner Julian himself, where we matched the blinds as closely as we could to our outer wall area. It is a perfect match to be fair. The most incredible ‘selling point’ of the shades is that we can still see through them whilst any neighbour would be unable to from the outside. Incredibly smart product. The clips to keep the bottom firm is an added bonus on windy days.The shades have been such a Blessing- I do a weekly weather check and when required we put the shades down. Today, a very wet day yet another reminder of how it’s prevented us grabbing for mops in order to mop the veranda area, which is a large space.The service was incredible. Trish was so swift in sending through the Quotation and as swift in scheduling an installation date as well as a lovely thank you for the proof of payment.The team that arrived on 17 October 2017 were on time, quiet, thorough, pleasant and comparing it to one of many ‘home projects’ this was the most swift and stress-free of them all. The team each knew exactly what they were required to do and simply got the job done!I am embarrassed to have waited this period before sending this mail but I also admit to thinking I had best give it time to see how they perform and would like you to know that I would un-reservedly Highly Recommend your company AA Shades to any potential client and go so far as to welcome them to our property to get a clearer idea of the shades and how aesthetically appealing they in fact are as this was our main concern and did not wish to detract from the look and feel of our home.With Many Thanks & Warm Regards,Di Featherby

When a supplier asks for FULL payment BEFORE doing the work, one should know to rather use someone else. Lesson learned for me. These people are unprofessional, unhelpful and did a horrid job on my awnings. My advise : AVOID

They make promises that they do not keep, even the owner. The office write e-mails with excuses based on lies. Very unreliable company. They installed a new blinds but never properly finished.
