Very disappointed in the poor level of service received. Made an appointment to see a specific vehicle with one of the sales reps. I arrived at the dealership at said time and found out that the sales rep wasnt coming in that day. The other reps on duty couldnt understand why the sales rep I was dealing with did not come in when an appointment was made. Theres clearly some very poor communication within the Ford team.Furthermore, the vehicle that I specifically went to see was in the repair shop so my trip from the southern suburbs to town was a waste.Anyways, another sales rep assisted me on the day and said they would make a plan to bring the car to me as its the least they could do considering I made an appointment and drove all the way for nothing.On the following Monday, I get a call from the initial rep that confirmed my appointment asking if everything went okay with my viewing. I informed her that I didnt even get to see the vehicle and that Theo said he would bring it around for me to see as he stays very close to where I do. She asked Theo if this was the arrangement and he said no, he was not bringing around the vehicle. Utterly disgusted at how he just changed his mind when he had made a promise.Would definitely not recommend Motus Ford Cape Town. This entire experience was completely off putting and I decided against getting the car I wanted from them based off the very poor level of service.

What a rip-off this outlet is.My weekend car, a 3.2 Ranger with 70,000 kms 2 months out of warranty starts leaking oil from the forward transfer case.Motus says bearing collapsed and seal gone so a complete forward transfer case replacement is needed @ R53,000.Couldnt speak to the the mechanic as he was changing an engine on another of their products.Went to an independent gearbox workshop and it turns out it was only a seal that had ruptured.Indie says I could choose to get a complete bearing kit at almost R7000 directly from Ford, which was not recommended by the dealership either.Finally got the seal repaired for R800.Dont trust this dealership with any repairs out of warranty and dont own a Ford out of warranty either

Lockdown level 3: Great service from Motus Ford Cape Town. It was great to be greated outside (by Arnold?) and showed to where you quickly have to get your temperature reading and sign in. Sir working at the parts department was very helpfull and quick to help. The sir that replaced the headlamp bulb was very nice and it was done within 2 seconds - Thank you very much.

Id like to compliment Munsoor, Letitia and the team for taking care of me and my vehicle.My Fiesta ST has been serviced by them since 2015 and it has been in for a few warranty and recall related issues. Admittedly, there have been a few times that repairs have taken longer than they should have but these can be attributed to Fords policies rather than the team at the workshop.Where the team has really come through for me though, is ensuring that I remain mobile with a courtesy car when repairs take longer than they should. On one occasion they also proactively repaired a component under warranty, which saved me money on repair costs later down the line.

Atrocious after sales service/support from the used car dealer.Purchased my vehicle from Ford in July’19 and am based in Jhb.After the vehicle was delivered, I received a mail from the salesman stating I need to go to the license department to get my license disk and new plates. When pushing this action back to him as I believe that was his responsibility, he directs me to a partner in the group based in Jhb who would attend to the licensing and disks.After many futile attempts to get in touch with the ‘partner’ I’ve resorted to doing the licensing myself incurring additional costs in the process as there was no roadworthy certificate supplied by the dealership.The salesman’s poor attitude and utter lack of professionalism in handling this matter once the sale was concluded was appalling.His incessant blame towards me for issues he should have attended to had me at a loss for words. Motus Ford, I love Ford, but you have lost a client.Value the client, not the sale.See my review for Allen Joss Ford in Pretoria North for the level of service you should be striving towards.

I took ownership of a vehicle from Imperial Ford Culemborg, Cape Town on the 16th July 2019. I had the car for 3 hrs when the engine light came on. I notified Imperial ford the same day. The person I dealt with was Patricia. I will however commend her for her quick response and was asked to take the vehicle to Reeds in Claremont to be fixed.Reeds had the car for 6 days, and was told to fetch the car as it had been fixed. At Reeds I started the car up and the engine light was still on. Grant at Reeds informed me that it was a problem with the throttle body. I was told by Imperial Ford that they would notify me when the part was available. Its now the 8th October( a month and few days ) since I have heard anything from Imperial Ford. We have to keep following up about the part and when can the car be booked in ( Imperial Ford does not follow up and let the customer know ). The problem is, if any other problem happens now with the engine, we will have no idea whether its the throttle body, or another part of the engine, and my wife has a baby of 1 month old.I also asked Imperial Ford for the service book of the car on the 29th July, and to date I have not received anything, not even an email to say that it is available.I was told yesterday in an email that I would have a response by the end of the day when the part would arrive ( and still havent received any email )People spend their hard earned money at your dealership, some people save for years to buy a car, this is not the service that paying customers should be receiving from your company.

I bought my car up at Ford Fury in Sandton, When I moved down to CT I had to find a new dealership to service my car. I then happened upon Imperial Ford Cape Town.I have to say, my confidence was shot completely by Ford Fury. They messed up my car and then gave excuses. They did such a poor job that I thought I would never ever buy another Ford again.Seems as if coming to Cape Town was the right move. This particular Ford is amazing. Their service staff are friendly and helpful. Even after dealing with upset clients or 360 plus all day they still will go the extra mile to ensure your car returns to you like new.Ford Imperial Cape Town. You have my complete trust and confidence. service after service, repair after repair I know I am in good hands.I cant praise this branch of Ford more.

I bought a brand new car in September 2017 and later discovered that it had defective parts. My car has been in and out for repairs. To this day, the car remains with some parts still not fixed. Now I want them to take their car back, and they want to hold me financially liable for the difference between my settlement and the trade in value. Why am I paying for something that isnt my fault?Terrible experience on buying a new car from Imperial Ford Culemborg, and i would never recommend buying a new car from them to anyone.

Original review reconsidered:I had previously written a very negative review of the service department as I felt they had over-serviced my car: They advised me to take a 100 000km service and replace the cambelt (and other extras), when I had only 56 000km on the clock (although my car was 5 years old). They didnt give me enough information to make an informed decision.However, after my complaint and original review, the manager, Munsoor, went to great lengths to explain their service system to me and the rationale behind preventative maintenance, particularly on rubber parts like cambelts. I really appreciated the time he took in addresing my complaint and learnt a lot more about my car and Fords standardised services. I wouldve appreciated this before my car went into the service.On the whole, Ive changed my mind: Whilst its generally a good idea to get a second opinion on your car (particularly once the guarantee / service plan has expired), Imperial Fords standardised service regime does give you peace of mind and a very well-serviced car. A very professional service at a premium.Thank you Munsoor for taking the time to explain this to me.
