Beautiful to see from the inside and out. Previously known as Jameson Hall, it is at the centre of the University of Cape Town. The view from the Hall towards Cape Town is a wonderful sight indeed.Many events take place here, including graduation. The building is also well designed on the inside with an old school wood style design.Definitely place to explore if you are a tourist. Even if not the inside the hall just enjoy the views from the outside. I should probably point out that the whole University itself is worth exploring.

Historical building that is symbolic of UCT (University of Cape Town), which has witnessed many important events that have rocked the nation. You can get a very nice view of part of Cape Town from the steps of the building. It has become sort of tourist attraction. If you visit UCT, you cannot miss this building.

When I stood at the bottom of the Jameson stairs, I told myself that I will live UCT a conqueror.

Steeped in history but a mission to find parking close to the venue. Had a great event & the staff that assisted with setup were great

Went for my nephews graduation. My mom struggles with walking and they lets us drop her right at the side door and park just round the corner. Well done guys...And we got seats in the 2nd row.

Very beautiful place, but as a student, having to go inside isnt amazing as it usually means a test or an exam. Sometimes, dreams due in there, but its still very beautiful, one of the best views of the city are from Memorial hall

Its a wonderful venue, stunning in beauty. Can get abit cold during exams but not a major problem✌✌

UCT is a world class University with a diverse culture and focus on studies and research. Also situated on a beautiful campus nested against the mountain.

The Iconic Jameson Memorial Hall is an identifying landmark for the University of Capetown. Beautiful architectural piece that looks even more impressive in person.

Spacious venue:great for events like get together, graduation ceremony or a meeting with a lots of people.

Not sure why it needed to be renamed. Triple distilled, twice as smooth when it was called Jameson.
