This is a hidden gem with great value for money. The staff is friendly and the service we received was awesome. Although there was a power blackout, they still managed to put a good plate of breakfast in front of me. We are definitely coming back real soon.

Great quiz show Saturday at this quirky Cafe, really enjoyed the food and lovely hosting by the friendly hosts. A definite must visit in the heart of the city.

Just ordered on the bolt food app coz of 50% discount. Honestly the worst breakfast food Ive ever ordered in my life. How can an omelet taste bad. The best part was the toast which was literally just normal brown bread toasted. We added a Margherita pizza..its like a defrosted store bought pizza. Even with the 50% off I feel like I paid too much.Will never eat here again.Regards

Ordered through Bolt Food and was blown away at how generous their portions are considering the low prices. The salmon bagel was a delicious winner (and its HUGE with a very decent helping of smoked salmon), the orange juice was incredible and the chocolate croissant is to die for.

The Chefs definately deserve credit . The waiters did an awesome job too , very professional people

Nice coffeeshop with good seating inside and outside. Inside decoration is modern and feel a bit cold.There is good selection of food. It seems reasonably priced, but am not sure about the portions. Never ordered food, but the coffee comes in a small cup.The latte was pretty good, but didnt stand out.The word decent seems approriate to descibe Crust Cafe overall.

I’ve been coming to Crust Cafe for the past 3 months and it is amazing. The quality of the food is top notch and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve just enjoyed a great breakfast / brunch, but the lunches and Curry nights are also superb. The full english breakfast fry up fresh juices and delicious Cappuccinos certainly stand out. On its way to becoming a Cape Town institution!

Great, simple menu with refreshing flavors. Try their homemade ginger beer for a classic, soft flavor with your brunch.

Affordable, decent food. Friendly staff and amazing freshly squeezed juice. My favourite, the fresh squeezed watermelon juice. Yum Yum. The only down thing is on average after your order you can wait 20-30 minutes for your food so you cant really be in to much of a rush. But the food comes fresh and tasty always and the portion sizes wont leave you hungry. I would definitely recommend this eating spot.

The service is great. The food is not. I will eat rocks so I have consumed it, but other members of the party just couldnt do it. It was generously taken of the bill and we were also generous with the tip. 2 stars for that reason. Good location. Hope the food gets better.

Nice place, a vriatey of foods from breakfast to lunch, fresh juices and milkshakes.Service is good and vibe is as well.The poached eggs were too boiled which was a shame and the French fries were too oily.But all in all its a nice place if you wanna enjoy food on a sunny day!

My absolute favourite place to stop in for coffee and food. The coffee is beyond delicious and made properly (why is this rare in Cape Town?!). I always have wonderful service from Siya, who remembers me every time. Love the little personal touches that make me feel like I’m not just a number. I always have the full English Breakfast which is available all day - big bonus for my fussy self. I highly recommend you try Crust!

As a vegetarian, its great to find new places to eat in Cape Town. Crust’s Veggie Burger is truly world class and their freshly made Green Juice is just wow. The decor and art exhibitions are great as well. Highly recommended!

Came for breakfast. Coffee is average. The kitchen staff don’t wear masks while making your food. Hard pass, left after paying for the coffee.

What a great venue! Amazing hosts, great ambience and great food (especially the curry). We have been there for a private function too and the whole event was seamless. We had so much fun and the tapas were amazing!

I frequent Crust regularly as I work nearby. Best Ice Coffee and Banana Smoothie! Really good sandwiches and the like. They do takeaways. I recommend it for a quick meal on the go.

Ive been coming here for years, the food is good and the service is amazing! I think sometimes the meals are expensive for what you get but Ive never once been disappointed in the food. Would definitely recommend the place.

Sat down at Crust for a bite to eat and immediately my attention was drawn to the veggie burger. Its only R45. Served without sides, but with fresh toppings and a tasty sauce. Tomatoe, Gherkin red onion lettuce and a freshly made Chickpea patty on a seeded bun. It didnt disappoint. I got half way and had to start using a knife and fork cos the patty was quite soft and started to break apart... Nicely done. Ill be back Their mission is stated quite matter of fact: SIMPLE, GOOD QUALITY FOOD, PREPARED FRESHLY EVERY DAY.

The venue is quite trendy, but the food was below average quality for a restaurant and dissapointing ! I didn’t eat it, but my friend ate his. I must say, the waiter was great and they didn’t charge me for the food without any questions, so I appreciated the service. I wouldn’t go back again but hope the food improves.
