Out standing service! They came to deliver beds I ordered. The two gentlemen saw us struggling to get a couch into the house. They didnt hesitate to take 20min out of their day to help us get the couch in. The only option was over the balcony. These guys just have a can do attitude and did it super quick job just out of goodwill! Well done Tafelberg you guys have the right team for any job to succeed! If you need any beds. Francois and his team in the beds department is the way to go.

My wife and I are so disappointed in the sales staff at this store. Today was our second visit to this store and the customer service is so poor. We recently moved to a new house and are in the market for a lounge suite and chairs. We have budgeted to spend R30 000 (cash) but it seems that no one in the furniture and appliances section is interested in making sales. Maybe they are just paid to well or the store has made target. We sat on couches moved scatter cushions to match the couch we really liked and the staff just continued to have their own conversations. Not one person came closer.We used to be avid supporters of Tafelberg furniture as this was where we bought our very first couch in 2010 but now it seems that the staff are very comfortable with not seeing to customers. This store in particular is very bad.We were left disappointed because there is a particular couch we like there but I refuse to part with my hard earned money without the proper customer service experience.

WoW! I was impressed.All staff were super helpful and Me Fischer assisted with the Washing Machine I bought. After a month I realised I am not happy with the machine cycles and they replaced it with another machine! Thanks to Hannelie , you guys really went the extra mile to see me happy. Tafelberg Furnishers Somerset West is our favourite store for just about anything you want to buy for your house. Very large selection, great displays and very good prices. To top all of that, they have a young lady, Melanie Bedeker, who always delights with her wonderful service!

It is so seldom that we receive good service these days and I have to say I was blown away by the excellent service received today on delivery of my awesome new Bosch dishwasher. Without even asking, the delivery men unwrapped my machine, installed it and connected it all up. They ensured it was working and then removed all of the packaging waste. Was such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them. Thank you Tafelberg Somerset West. Thats service I wont forget.

This shop used to be very family friendly, good prices, excellent customer service...................it seems things have changed, customer service is now pretty much nonexistent. Some advice to future customers, if you decide to purchase any item which requires it to be delivered, get full delivery details and times of expected delivery. If not, expect to wait all day and after numerous telephone calls, your delivery will still not take place.Review updated: Received great customer service from Melanie (SW Store Manager) and from the Head Office. Chest Freezer was delivered promptly this morning after a courteous call informing us of expected delivery within 15 minutes. The Store Manager and Head Office both apologised for the inconvenience and wavered the delivery fee, we also received a in-store gift voucher. My confidence in Tafelberg Furnishers has been fully restored.

Service Department is rude and dismissive.I took my Kenwood mixer in to Tafelberg Somerset West for a main bearing change. After many issues with the communication on what I wanted done, I was contacted weeks later by Hannelie telling me the quote is for R3500 for a gearbox change. I knew the gearbox was not faulty and asked for more info. She told me she is only phoning to ask if I accept the quote or not.Off course I was not accepting it and went to pick it up. Again, I asked Hannelie why the gearbox needed changing.I am not a technician Maam and gave me a number to phone myself, and promtly sent a guy to the front with my Kenwood.I followed my Kenwood to the door where I insisted on opening it. It had a nasty scratch which was new and showing it to the door guard, he said he is only there to check if the serial numbers matched and I should take it back to the Service Dept. to lay a complaint.At last I lost all patience and left.My advice to you: Look for accredited repairers in your area and work directly. Having a third party between you and technicians is frustrating and costly.I spoke to Kenwood SA and was told the bearing can only be replaced by replacing the gearbox as well. The quote for this: R2000...that is quite a difference in price from their R3500 quote.

First time that I have been here. They have one entrance. Everyone greets you politely as you enter. They take your temperature and sanitize your hands. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the store. Very big and clean. They have a big variety of products. Really quality products. What ever you want they have. Theirs enough personnel to help. The only thing that disappoint me was that the pay point is not visible. A place to visit for sure

We called the store we bought it from and reported the issue to them this morning. They collected the faulty item this afternoon and delivered a brand new deep freeze, no hassles, no questions asked. Second time we have been to tafelberg meubels and saw employees not wearing their masks inside. Previously, we have also been treated poorly with very bad customer service. Had to wait an hour just to be helped.

Sales person was informative but kept pushing for more expensive sales . The biggest issue was that he kept pulling his mask off to inform us about the product (coivid 19 its essential to wear masks especially when in proximity to others) Either not educated properly about how covid is spread or something because as you entered the store they were very particular about mask wearing and sanitization.
