Went on a Saturday. Bought a 8kg washing machine. Told us itll be delivered on Tuesday. Wednesday morning I phone to ask where it is, suddenly they dont have stock after they told us they do on the Saturday. They did make a plan and phone another branch and got us a washing machine on the Thursday. Funny thing, we payed for an 8kg and we get a 6kg, 2 days late. Yea customer service is good but you going to have problems the entire time and probably get the wrong thing anyways. Rather go anywhere else. Uneducated employees in very crucial sales positions. If thats what tickles your fancy and you enjoy struggling to get what you pay for then Game is the way! Goodluck to the rest of you. Update - got the correct washing machine 2 weeks later. A worker named Bradley at game was very helpful and tried to sort everything out to the best of his abilities.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. Covid protocols are maintained which makes feel safe and comfortable to shop.Cashiers are efficient and fast so theres no long waiting at the till points. It is quite a far distance from my home but Im very happy to shop there 😁

I had seamless return transaction with their customer services recently which was great. The floor staff by the electronics section take quite long to attend to customers they may be short staff in this section but it happens frequently in most game stores Ive been to including this one.

Absolutely shocking service. Told that an item will be kept aside for me. When I went to collect, the item had been sold and I was told that the company policy is to not hold items for customers. Cant believe the incompetence of the staff. I will never buy from game ever again and absolutely do not recommend them to future customers.

I needed a sewing machine, and requested eft details, the manager never sent the details, I HAVE ALWAYS EXPEREINCED horrible service from Tygervalley, last time i wanted to buy a phone which clearly was available the lady said its not available and i had to call head office who confirmed its available, they all dont know their jobs, and are very unprofessional Liberty promenade is really far but its the best place to shot by far.

Unfortunately Game has fallen behind in the last few years with service etc. Too many staff standing around and not really doing anything. Chatting to one another. Dont get me wrong, there are a few very good staff members but the bad ones are bringing the other ones down.

Good value. Great service from the lovely lady that advised me. Many printers (what I went for) But NO PRINT CABLES!!! Pity I had to walk from shop to shop. Eventually got one at a sell phone parts shop at the food court.

The store was full and well merchandise, although they didnt have either if the items that I was looking for this time.

Game Stores are handy to live close to because they stock a large variety of types of goods, and generally the quality (and accordingly, the price) of the goods is quite variable (mostly from low to alright, if you want something better, go to Games brother store, Dion Wired whose quality and pricing will range from alright to how in the world am I meant to afford that?).Their sporting goods section is on the low end, but much of that will still be quite serviceable. Their furniture kits, on the other hand are of terrible quality and you will be lucky if the item you buy will last you 3 years.

I went to buy a vacuum at the verimark section were 3 people all busy talking not one asked if they could assist as i had questions i wanted to know about which one would be worth my money very disappointed i still bought the vacuum but customer service would have been nice to let me feel confident in my purchase.

I have just phoned 3 different Games regarding a projector I need for my school. I finally find one at Game Tygervalley. I request ifthey can e-mail a quote which I can present to our finance department so they can make payment. I was told I must come in physically to get a quote and they cannot e-mail a quote. Very disappointing especially in this time of Covid when we are supposed to limit our movement. I usually deal with Cape Gate and Zevenwacht and the level of service is usually so much better.

No bats and balls??? Bluetooth speaker selection not good. Service seems missing mostly. Except for the ones we had to find, thx guys. Also depending on how u look at it, the store is so big u could run a half marathon while shopping. Good exercise.😊

Went to purchase vacuum. No game sales persons on the floor and looked for staff thats selling vacuum cleaners. All three outsource sales persons not present. It was 10am. And Apparently, staff was not in yet.Game staff need proper training of their products. And need to know where the products are in the store. Very very bad training.

Neatly organised game store. Small veggie collection with essential food products as you enter the store (to the left). There is a bigger electronic section and today (29 June 2020) we bought a TV and got excellent service from two gentlemen working at this section. Then, gym and exercise stuff are nicely priced and I bought a cheaply comparible USN creatine product there before. They custom cut blinds to a preferred size (lengths only) and we welcomed this because we could take it home and fit it right away. The lady working at the blind section really knows her stuff! The only downside is the exit where they check your bought items. This could be strange (when people look through your items like you are a thief) to some and one guy actually argued with the security at the door. I get it and I am really on the fence to whether this should lead to a star reduction or not.

Its a shop at the entrance of the building and makes it very easy to pop in and out without any delays.

I stood in the customer service line for 30 minutes and they proceeded to help the caucasian lady behind me first.

The Store has everything you need. But lack Customer Service. I called Aug 12 already to report a Problem with my washing machine that i purchased there. I have called numerous times and everytime i get told Sinotech will come and collect the following day and that there is a backlog with repairs. I even went to the store and was told they would have this sorted in no time. This was almost 2 weeks ago. Up until today i am still waithing. This is pathetic service coming from a huge Retailer.

I enjoy shopping here. Consultants are always eager to help and advise. When they do not know they often go to another consultant to ask, always trying to come back with the correct product or advise an alternative solution.The shop offers a wide variety of products including but not limited to groceries, home and bathroom products , outdoor and garden equipment, exercising equipment, electronics. clothing and gifts.A good place to shop at.

Very good Game store. Most items found here and convenient at all times.Have used this store a few times during the day and evenings. The staff are friendly and food fresh. Very clean and not crowded. Multiple till points available so queuing times are hardly ever long unless theyre having a massive sale.

Game always has multiple specials going and the quality of these items are excellent.

A good place for everyday shopping, but not for more specialist items. Camping chairs break. Suitcases not up to standard. Prices are good. Service is good too. Spacious and well designed.

I only went in here to get a cool drink before going home. Was very clean and efficient. In and out within a couple of minutes.

All 5 stars goes to Ebrahim Roos and the lady I spoke to on the phone in June (sadly didnt get her name)It started with a request to provide me with a copy of my proof of purchase, which I thought could be done over the phone. The lady I spoke to initially was very helpful in how to approach and resolve the problem, provided me with all the details that I needed to email though.After about a week of no response from the customer care center at Game, I decided that I would go into the store to request it in person. And so I waited and waited and waited. Every 3 days I would get a call from a different person who had no idea what the initial request was, and would ask me to provide all of the information sent in the first email again.Finally, I had enough and walked back into the store to speak to the manager (again), when I stumbled upon Ebrahim. He immediately knew what I was talking about, he found the original slip, was very kind and helpful in providing me with it.In short, if you need something to be done at Game Tygervalley branch, ask for Ebrahim, he will help you.

Normally have what you are looking for. But if you want any kind of service dont hold your breath. If you look at any staff member, they quickly look away or do a disappearing act, its actually quite impressive, David Copperfield style.

Was planning in buying a TV. They ended up not having stock. Staff was trying exceptionally hard to not make me buy an TV. Went few shops down the hallway and bought one from Incredible Connection where I got very good service and a great deal.

I dont know if the staff in other Game stores assist people by mistake, but no one helps you in this very store. Chaotic service in the electronic section. We just walked out and bought what we wanted from Incredible connection

I went there to buy a laptop. There was no one to assist us in that department, so my daughter had to literally go call a sales person. Because of his excellent service & friendliness, i give game an xtra star

A very decent store. They have all that one expects from a Game store. Tho this comes from someone who only popped in to purchase a mop and tea towels.

Bought suitcases for an upcoming trip. Shop soiled suitcase was sold to us with a discount. Manager was very accommodating. A pleasant experience for a change

Reception at Game Tygervalley was warm and friendly but I could not find any of the items I was looking for. I especially made a trip from Montagu to purchase items, but was unsuccessful.

Bought pillows that had no price on shelf and R50 off when you buy two on the packages . Ask the staff member the price. She said R100 each then its still R50 off for two. Well it didnt scan like that. And when we went to customer service and spoke to the manager(who was sitting on his cellphone) they had such a attitude. Said the discount is already included in the price (mathematically it cant make sense) and we can return it if we not happy. Terrible customer service. Wont ever be going to that branch again.

They have a sign at their gym equipment that say, you may test it out at your own risk, but the staff is not aware of the sign and very rude when you try to test it out. Not sure if the rules changed, but if it has changed then they should take the sign down.🤬

GAME stores-Tygervalley is great, the stores layout and staff are friendly. The products are clearly marked and well advertised. The isles are neat and there are no safety hazards

The shop is clean and nice but we waited for about 15 minutes at the fridge section and no 1 came to assist us. We ended up going to look for someone elsewhere to assist. Not sure if it was post Black Friday effects but when we finally got someone to help us, they we very professional and friendly.

Good place for shopping almost everything under one roof. From grocery, to electrical & electronic appliances, home decor, gym stuff to sports. Helpful staff. Best part is their call back voucher which they give you if something on promotoon is out of stock, you will get it at promotional price whenever stock is back.

I like the way Game has transformed itself yet stayed true to being the Game Stores we all know and love. This Game has a lovely layout and makes things easier to find plus its always neat and orderly. I like that.

Tried getting a cellphone contract for which i was declined! Why? My ID nr was captured incorrectly, and belonged to a Filipino. Spent nearly 4 hours trying to sort it out. Then my banking details didnt match. Went to the Mtn store and within 30 minutes I had my phone

Not very helpful. Staff scattered everywhere and no body knows where anything is. Everyone refers you to someone else who doesnt know where things are. I do not like unprofessional staff and definitely needs to be looked at in terms of how they run their business.

Very upset with game today.... I phoned in to ask if they had stock of the item I wanted and I was told theres a lot of it. I drove all the way in my lunch break just to get there and they dont have stock... I asked the lady that I phoned she told me I thought there was one more Why tell me there is a lot but actually you just thought there were.... They should really start giving people the correct information.

Aisles are spacious and there was no long lines to pay. Service at paypoint was fast and efficient.

I made a short visit to your store and was approached twice in that time, this behavior is unprofessional and negatively impacts on my shopping experience. Lovely, clean store BUT....one of my biggest irritations in shopping.....NO PRICES on the shelves on many of the items I was wanting to purchase.....HELLO...wake up retailers....! How difficult is that....where are your store managers....and please teach them to smile when you approach them!

This shop never have stock of all their sale items and their shelf price is never amended during a sale. So watch your till prices cause they will charge you the normal price.

Staff is VERY friendly. I chose the wrong marked down blankets. The lady at the till assisted that an other staff member will fetch the correct blankets and she made sure she brought back the same colours. Now that is servive😆

Huge place but the in-store direction signs can be improved on. They start off leading you along then abruptly leave you hanging as if expecting that you should be able to figure out the rest yourself

My main go to game in terms of distance from the house. Staff is helpful and you can normally find whatever you need here. I only had trouble in the kitchen appliance department, but I think it was also because we arrived there near closing time.
