Today we had a lovely time at SANCCOB, learning all about the African penguin. My little one loved the personal tour and watching the penguins being fed. Well done to the SANCCOB team! The birds look very happy and well cared for. It was clear that a lot of passion goes into what you do. We will definitely visit again.
We have a lovely time this weekend our little one really enjoyed this. Thank you for the amazing work you do.
Very educational for young and old. Dedicated to the care, rehibilitation and eventual release of penguins injured / damaged due to human fault. Motiviated knowledgeable staff give well informed tours around the facility. Trinket shop available.
Great experience, good place to take children to be educated on penguins
The amount of hard work and effort going towards the animals is remarkable. The birds live happily and are well looked after. My heart goes out to the people who give up their day to help animals in need. Support this place in any way possible to help them. A well organized and managed Area.

They are deeply helpful and caring of marine seabirds. They are also the people to call when a bird is in danger or trapped. They came up with a solution near instantly. Thank you to all involved.

SANCCOB is a proffessionally run NGO specializing in the rehabilitation of the endangered african penguin and other seabirds. It is mainly driven by volunteers and a core proff management staff component. Well worth volunteering your time or providing other needed resources. Keep up the good work guys and ladies! πππ§π¦
Animals look well fed and happy. Volunteers not too helpful or friendly. The guy was nice though.
These guys do fantastic work to save and heal penguins and other seabirds. Knowledgeable guide showed us around and was fascinating, informative and fantastic with the kids. Support them.
Great to know there are people who care for and take time to rehabilitate penguins in need. Amazing to see what they do.
I found a baby dove in my garden that fell out of one of my trees. After looking after him throughout the night, I got in touch with Sanccob who has a contact who looks after rescued garden birds. Very helpful.
Wonderful to see volunteering of overseas youngsters helping with the rehabilitation of penguins & sea birds
Great place to be! Busy renovating but will look even better afterwards!
My favourite rehab facility for the South African Penguin as well as other sea birds.
Just watched Penguin A & E on PBS in the U.S. Fascinating program, nice work! Thanks!
