Thanks to Tanya for keeping the straight face for the sake of loving our pets and witholding the institution financially. I lost two puppies recently due to missing correct amount of vaccination to avoid Parvo, please people vaccinate your pets it is unfair to them to go through the suffering that I witnessed this cat flu/Parvo puts them through.Maybe if there could be a bit more slack to those who cant pay for vaccines, my Cyber and Bully would still be with me but whats done is done... just me pleading to people to vaccinate please.

I work for a mobile dog grooming company called Ultimate Pet Care and we came here to wash a few dogs today. There are a lot of beautiful dogs and cats here that deserve a loving family please come and take a look at them and even if you are unable to adopt please make donations like food, blankets etc. It is heartbreaking to see these animals that have to because their owners did not care.

Great service, PPE compliant - strict rules (for good reasons), and affordable! But most of all, treat the pets with utmost care, and are thorough with their investigations and treatments. Very clean area!!

I had to take my cat in to get his one eye removed, and the aacl did a fantastic job with the surgery, and the staff did a great job and were very friendly the whole way through, especially putting up with my constant calls to check on him. Theyre also really affordable, which was something I was really worried about before coming here, since I know how expensive vets can be. Overall I was very happy with my experience here. The only thing to keep in mind is there can be a bit of a waiting time, but thats totally understandable, as they do get quite busy with animals.

What a nice place. I took a donation as these guys are going through a very difficult time. So if you are in a possision to make a donation please do even if its a bag of food or old blankets or whatever. It will be appreciated from the hart. I had, to take my cat in.. After I found him poisoned,. I had to have him unfortunately put down. It was to late and bad.. But the lovely people at AACL, wow.Really made it easier. The best service you can get. Everyone is helpful. We needed to sterilized a stray cat so we can keep him. They helped us with no problems. Even the security is friendly and helpful. Keep it up.

I went to Epping to day as my cat that they sterilized on Monday last week had developed a hernia as they did not put in stitches, waited two hours then got overlooked as the system was not working the lady that looked at him was more interested in getting her computer to work, only to tell me I need to bring the cat back during the week

A very professionally run business of veternarian and operational services offered to queues of animals of every breed of cat and dog. Nancy always offering an ear with a sweet smile to sad faces and stories. Collars and face masks, pills of every kind where ticks and fleas have no place to creep, whatever you need for you much loved furry friend, they have it in store. i recommend them any day, for advise or assistance, there is always enough love there for all. Rest assured you will feel as loved as your furry friend.

We went to spend some time with the cats and kittens as my mom is looking to adopt so I can only talk about their adoptions officers and that. I used to volunteer there fairly regularly and youve never seen a more caring group of people. The animals are all well looked after and as happy as possible while waiting for their forever homes. They are loved and its wonderful to organise some time to just give the animals attention even if you arent looking to adopt right now. You really cant be sad with kittens or puppies dancing all over you. If youre looking to adopt, they are certainly fantastic and alow you to meet all the animals you need in order to make a decision and give you the time necessary to decide.

The AACL Bellville is amazing.... I was fortunate enough to get my resque baby girl Chloé, micro chipped as well as her vaccine for R250.... This special is running for the month of June....Amazing people doing an awesome job.....

Firstly, for those complaining about long lines... Really?? what did you expect? If the staff rush, they rude, if they take their time, and be kind and sympathetic, people moan...My amazing experience was on 31.08.204 when i adopted our gorgeous little girl Lilly, thank you again Helen and your staff...the experience from beginning to end was amazing... Lilly sends love and hugs and for her 5th year anniversary would like to make a donation...

Excellent care from the vet although the waiting time is a bit long. Well worth it though considering they are there for the animals and not loads of money.

This is to thank the staff and doctors of AACL Bellville.On Friday 14th May 2021 I took my 14 month old sick dog [Jack] to your facility [hospital].Jack did not eat and was lame. I braved the weather and stood in the queue waiting for my turn to see the doctor.Covid protocol was visabily displayed.In the consulting room,Jack was laid down on a high stainless steel table where he was professionally examined from his head to rear end.A sample of his poo was also taken..He was than diagnosed with Parvovirus,Diarrhea and Exessive gas and subsequently given several injections and other medication such as Triworm,Gastropect,Clopamon and Bemetazoleto,to be taken at home.The doctor politely emphasised the dos and donts and also mentioned his chances are 50/50.I was told should there be no improvement to his condition.I must bring him back the following day and they will put him on a drip.The next day there was improvement and gradually he was getting stronger.After four days Jack was the same vibrant,active and playful dog again.Well done!! and thanks again.On behalf of Jack.

What a place to visit. Took my lil Toro there and the service was just great! The Vet is amazing and educated me on dog care. The consultant at reception is very diligent and caring. Thank you!

They do such good work. Please consider adopting from this wonderful place instead of supporting puppy mills. You are sure to find a best friend here. Facilities are so clean and doggies are well looked after.

I dont disregard what the welfare does - I feel they are doing an excellent and very difficult job, but sitting and listening to how their staff treats people who go there with their pets, was really upsetting. Lots and lots of customer care and people skills needed. I hope when they have the opportunity or funds to send their staff for this training, they will jump at it. In the end welfare starts with education and you dont educate people by belittling them.

Called in a day before and wad told come in at 7 to complete forms, however we still had to wait till opened before the forms were completed.However one booking done, it was okay.One the operation was done, the vets were friendly and understanding regarding our financial situation. Also our Pet is doing fine since.

Not a good place if you have other responsibilities. Its like a state hospital, too little staff, not very efficient. But then again, if you love your animal(s) and their welfare you will gladly accept this poor service.

My babies got their vaccine there 2ce this far the receptionist was friendly an the doctor that helped us.. we waited a bit long to be helped but we had a good experience q

Service was friendly and caring. Queing system is not clear. You que and then they take details. After which you wait make sure you know whos infront and behind you as that also helps to know if they have missed you. The Vets that see you are awesome ladys.

The waiting was too long but good service for little money

The AACL do amazing work. It especially made an impression on me when I saw a man bringing his dog to be euthanized. The receptionists were so compassionate and sympathized with him. I cannot imagine what that must feel like. Which is why I wanted to ask, whether its possible to allow these people not to wait (the wait can be long, especially when staff deal with tons of emergencies) along with others coming for vaccinations etc. Id imagine the wait to be so agonising on top of everything else.Keep up the amazing work💙

I really cant complain. The staff, vets are so amazing, understanding and compassionate. Waiting a bit is a bit of a downside especially when your furbaby isnt feeling well, but these people go above and beyond.Thank you AACL for the awesome work that you guys do. God bless

They do good work. Because of social distancing, be prepared to wait in your car, then wait in a queue outside in the sun for extends periods of time. There is a shady area but its usually full, so take an umbrella for shade, and water for your pet.

I am so impressed with the neat and cleanliness of the shelter. The dogs are in a good condition and really looks happy. I adopted my second furkid from them. She is a real cutie and after only a few days she climbed all four paws into my heart!! Thank you AACL Bellville South. Youre all angels, specially the adoption angel!!

Very dedicated, overworked and under-resourced staff but they do the Best with what they have. Expect to wait in long queues but this is the nature of a donor-run organisation. I took a stray that was near death there and they recovered her over more than a month of dedicated attention. I have since adopted her

Service was great and staff was friendly but I waited more than 2 hours in the sun before could even go inside. I think that theybare a bit short staff and covid queues not really helping the situation

The animals are very well cared for- dedicated staff who keep the enclosures clean and comfortable for the furries. The vet staff are amazing!

If there was a minus amount of stars I wouldve given it. The staff there are so rude and uncooperative. I just wanted an email stating that my cat was neutered there. I had to have a proof of neuter seeing that I live in a complex. And the lady was tuning me over the phone stating that she cant help me with a a letter today and that it might take 2 weeks she doesnt know. She heard I have a crying baby in the back ground. It doesnt cost anything to be nice and courteous. Im done with that place.
