Love the ribs, they were so juicy 😋😋😋 I’ll definitely come back for more!

Definitely not the sticky I remember when it was still sticky fingers. Small portions completely overpriced, dry ribs no marinade. This use to be the place to go to for ribs. I’ll rather stick to spar much cheaper and tastes allot better. R220 for a kg ribs with chips compared to almost R400 for under a KG ribs. Disappointing

Not sure why Sticky BBQ, Observatory is still open. Every time we try to give them another chance they just find new ways to disappoint.No.1: We got there the doors were closed, the staff were sitting outside not sure if they were opening.No.2: We phoned to enquire if they were open, they were. We got there, there was no wings!No.3: Less significant but still, no sriracha for sriracha wings.No.4: We phoned to ask if they were open, they were confirmed that they were, they had wings and they used the Entertainer app, great stuff. We get there order our food then were informed that the kitchen staff would be there in 10 minutes, we waited 20 minutes the kitchen staff still werent there, we were then advised that we could pick our order up at Rondebosch (an inconvenience that could have been prevented if we were advised that the person making the food would not be arriving). Now we sit no food, waiting for it to be delivered and no further communication. When we asked for the refund rather the person was helping us was unsure on how to do it.My advise, rather dont waste your time, buy a meal somewhere else.

Had a great time there. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great food. You will not make a mistake taking time out to visit Sticky BBQ.

Just received our order from Uber Eats - small portions, overcooked ribs, over priced. Weve eaten their food many times, but after this meal I doubt well be ordering from there again.

Always a great experience at Sticky Fingers. Their food is well prepared, the portion sizes are generous. A plus to visiting Stickys is their helpful staff. The quality of service Ive found to be the same both at the Observatory branch as well as the branch on main (Rondebosch). If in doubt on what to eat try the burger and wings combo but if you are looking to spend a little extra then the ribs and wings combo is worth it!

Great aesthetic, great prices and great food. Personal favourites of mine include the onion rings, chilli poppers and poster of 2pac over one of the tables.Has a very nice student vibe and offers a discount if you present your student card.Aesthetic besides for 2pac includes a poster of Obama and The Godfather for good measure

For the third time now, my orders have been incorrect. With my last order, I ordered two Double Platters (a Double Deluxe Platter and a Double Mixed Platter). Both arrived as single portions and the store confirmed that they made an error with the order. I spent two weeks being strung along by Trish, who kept promising to resolve the issue to no avail. I eventually got given the contact number for one of the managers, Bongani whose phone is never answered. To this day, I have yet to receive my refund. On my previous order, my order included a Wings & Sausage Combo, which was left out of my order. The manager (Chaska) asked us to come into the store the following day to collect the missing items - did Chaska (the manager) and the chef lady (Noma) not get into a heated argument in front of all the customers??The level of professionalism and customer service at this branch is sooo poor, youre better off ordering from Cavendish or Rondebosch.

I honestly love the ribs but you disappointed me twice now on your special, if thats what special means keep it! Ordered the American bbq bacon cheese burger twice and the beef patty was burned. Just last week and today😩😩😩.

Food was so filling we ended up taking food home. The Peanut butter milkshake couldve been done smoother though. Clumps at the bottom. It tasted nice nevertheless.

Wow, was impressed with this cozy little place. Best milkshake ever!!!! Had the full rib and wing combo and was more than enough for 2 people. Ribs were juicy and basically fell off the bone. Will definitely go back soon.

Driven past it 1000 times and finally gave it a go after being seized by a galactic craving for chicken wings. Ordered the peri peri 12pc with a strawberry shake. Im never totally guilt free about splurging on takeout given that Im a perfectly capable cook myself, but man oh man - not only was my guilt completely assuaged after tucking into my menu choices, but I left floating on a cloud of pure euphoria after my little feast for one. This could become a dangerous habit.

Super unprofessional. 26/01/2021 i waited 2 hours for my order which ended up being canceled. Super disorganized. I dont know how/why they thought to deliver food past curfew time! And the lady really assured me that I would get my order no matter what! First time ordering from here and Im so displeased with them. NEVER WILL I ORDER HERE AGAIN!!!

False Advertising.We decided to try Sticky BBQ about 2/3 weeks ago in Observatory. We came all the way from Blouberg to try them out as they adverts on Facebook and Instagram always leave one wanting to go.When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely waitress, however there was a woman randomly half asleep behind the counter.I ordered a BBQ meat platter and my partner a burger... The burger was absolutely watery and the BBQ platter consisted of 200g ribs which was just fat, 3 sausages which tasted a bit off and a lamb chop that was medium rare...Whilst we sat there, we saw a random rib bone in the roof and rats were having a brawl as-well above. I mean... Is the kitchen clean?? We stopped and asked to speak to the manager, low and behold the manager was the woman whom was half asleep behind the counter...When I explained my disappointment and health and safety issues, I was labelled as a liar and was expected to still pay for my meal, I didnt as I walked out.We wrote to the Facebook page for the eatery and sudden action was taken as they replaced the roof, however no compensation was offered for this horrible customer experience and since, every message send to them has been ignored.I am absolutely disappointed in this and the fact that they have no Customer Experience priorities.

I love this place! My partner and I only discovered it recently and we both had a fantastic time. Its great for an intimate gathering, as its quite cozy inside. The service was amazing from the get go. They treated us so well. The food was delicious and filling (even the smaller portions). We are very happy customers!

Food was good eventually. But the service not so much though, almost an hour for a burger. Oh sorry the waiter forgot to inform anybody that they ran out of ribs..! Why are milkshakes considered to be ice-cream these days???

The food was good. The staff was very friendly. Milkshakes are absolutely wonderful at a reasonable pricing. I dont really like the layout of the restaurant, its too dark inside. Otherwise my experience at Sticky fingers BBQ was pleasant ❤️.

We ordered the rib and wing combo, it was awesome! You have a choice of basting that make the wings very flavorful. Onion rings and fries are included in the meal. No additional condiments were needed as all the while meal tasted great.

An awesome little spot with the most amazing ribs in all of the universe. They also make great fries and milkshakes too. The staff are irie and welcoming and the place jut have a generally chilled atmosphere. Oh yeah, and really cool special ever so often. Thanks for the tasty craft beer!

The staff was very welcoming since we set foot inside till the time we left, which was approximately two hours later. Our waitress was super friendly and very competent. The menu doesnt have a huge variety but the presentation and quality of the food makes up for it. My family and I celebrated Fathers day there and well definitely be back. If youre looking for a chop n dop, this is the place to be.

This is a regular on my places to eat. Fall off the bone ribs and sticky wings with different flavors to choose from. The venue is quite small and needs some TLC, but otherwise some of the best ribs in CPT.!

Its a classic American restaurant with exceptional flame grilled food. Perfect for meat lovers and has special offer. Has zealous staff and really cool vibes. You definitely get your monies worth.

I typically enjoy Sticky Fingers, but last night I ordered an Oreo Banana and Chocolate waffle for takeaway and literally just got a waffle. Now maybe I should have checked my order, but I suspect because it was late, however, it was really disappointing from an otherwise great place.UPDATE:After lodging my complaint, Sticky got back to me within the day, and the lady confirmed that it was just a slip of the mind. Thanks Sticky for the prompt response, and though its a small thing, its something Ill definitely remember.

Ordered for collection a supreme platter 600G that costs almost R300. The food tasted very nice. But i got 3 onion rings, 3 poppers, 3 HALFS of russians. 4 wings and 4 ribs and probably a 100g fries. I really expected more for the price made. This was the largest platter we took and it was basically a serving for 1 person. Utterly disappointed as this was the BIGGEST platter available.

Great Monday to Friday specials. The food is always good and the portions are lovely. The beer is expensive as its only craft. Ideal for the night crawlers as the kitchen closes late as well.

Good food, stay away from the burgers though! If you want an amazing burger Jerrys burger bar is very nearby. Sticky fingers was great when it started up but they have become pretty stingy, they make you pay for small things like extra sauce and cheese. Go during happy hour, when theres drinks specials.

Absolutely loved this place! We went here in March 2018 and immediately loved the style of the place. The staff is really friendly and attent, there is a bar with good music and the overall vibe is excellent. And not to forget, the food is incredible! The name food what you get is also 100% true to the name Sticky Fingers haha. Definitely recommend this place.

If youre looking for a good meal with reasonable prices this is the place for you. Parking tends to be a bit difficult to find. However, most cars just parks on the side of the road.

Had a bad experience today. Got here and the staff were missing. Waited for 5 minute before the waiter/front office person came from the kitchen. I ordered the info and ribs combo. Food was ice cold when they delivered it, fries were over salted and onion rings super oily. They then re-did the wings and ribs, which was warm then when it came. The chicken seemed old or of low quality and the ribs were way over cooked and probably also super frozen and old. Pity we tend to put up with such poor quality food in Cape Town most other franchise restaurants have similar issues 😔

Called to place an order and collect only to be told they have closed 10PM on weekdays when Google still shows them open. Nearly went out my way to drive through on the way home.Another incident was getting much less in portion size than what I ordered to collect, always check the order before leaving on a collect order.Service at this joint has really gone down..

Some people might feel like the venue isnt nice but I dont find anything wrong with it. The food is nice and they serve craft beer so thats a plus. The Waiter was friendly and I had an overall good experience.

After previously hearing all about the rave I decided to test out the Rondebosch branch and overall was completely put off by the disappointing quality of the food and dismal service that I received last year. I promised myself that I would never visit Sticky BBQ again as i felt it did not live up to its reputation and there were far more restaurants that served much tastier and better quality food which wasnt dry and had actual flavor. Last night I decided to order in and didnt even realize that I had ordered from the branch in Observatory. The food was prepared quite fast and WOW I must admit that it was Fantastic! Honestly The portions are for actual people, at an affordable price and with decadent Flavour. Really the observatory Branch has redeemed the franchise in my opinion and has now made this one of my favorite places to eat - which says a lot as I was completely put off with it after my last experience. A huge thank you to the chefs for fantastic food that I now am just unable to stop craving!

The name says it and delivers. Honey bacon jalapeno sriracha burger is top notch and sticky fingers. Chilli poppers are good balance of heat, filling and batter, large size. Jack Black and CBC on tap, good service.

Food was so good, I had the texan burger and it was amazing. They delivered very quickly as well. Will definitely go again.

Had tender ribs and good tasting wings. Basting was amazing,not too much or too sweet. My go to place for beef ribs.

Barely acknowledged by waiter, had to ask for menus, took 15 minutes for a drink order to happen. We had to ask again. When the food arrived, the burger was underdone and cold, as were the chips. No condiments put on table, not impressed. Previous experiences were better, but clearly they were understaffed at the time. Time to hire an extra couple of students?

Amazing staff compliments the amazing food served there. Aim for one of the rib/wing combo or if you want something different, try the fan-made burgers. Absolute treat!
