I completed my first ever tandem paraglide today off Signal Hill. John was professional and ensured my flight was safe but also so much fun! The view is simply incredible! Its probably one of the most accessible activities you can do even if youre afraid of heights.Cape Town is one of the most spectacular places in the world to paraglide. Signal Hill, is the site which is most commonly flown from because of its location and the stunning views of Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Waterfront and the Cape Town area.

A truly amazing experience, a great mix of adrenaline and zen!And then add in a great pilot like Jacques who is purely focussed on your experience and goes out of his way, it’s just awesome

What a great experience! The paragliding from Signal hill to the coast is 10-15 mins and may be short in time and also in altitude difference but it is over the city and it gives breath-taking view! It is generally safe if there is no strong coast wind. It costs me 140 USD as I didnt book in advance and walked in but it definitely worths the experience. The cost includes a SD card with pictures and videos taken during the flight!

We paraglided down from lions head and not from signal hill. It was absolutely amazing. We were in the air for around 20-25minutes. Incredible feeling. The instructors are well experienced and we felt very safe. Would do it again

These guys were top notch in service and safety. My wife and I took the leap and it was well worth it. It was a short ride due to weather conditions, but you’d have to take that up with Mother Nature. Book afternoons for longer flight times (not morning as we did) or simply use their service in Hermanus. We noticed paragliders up there FOREVER when later driving through Hermanus 🤦🏻‍♂️Next time 🙂In sum, great activity in Cape Town, you won’t regret it. And if you’re afraid of heights like I, don’t fret, it’s a gentle take off, not a leap off a precipitous drop. Go for it!!
