What a terrible experience. All the shelves were empty. This is not Woolworths quality.

During the past lockdown I worked late and got to the door at 18h54. It was closed. My daughters were home alone and I wanted to get a quick meal to pop into the oven. There were at least 5 security/staff at the door and I asked to go in. Its not so much that they refused but the way they ridiculed me for asking why if it is before 7pm

El Ridge square is my go to shopping spot and overall its pretty pleasant.

A small Woolworths Food store that we use regularly. At times their shelves can be low and they carry the basics not the extended Woolworths range. Good trading hours however.

Usually my go to Woolworths, but absolutely disappointed that the manager just sold wine after 18:00 to two ladies that put up a fight with him saying that they got there 17:55. They didnt even stand in line to pay and did an underhand deal. Security were even shocked by this when the ladies walked out. THIS IS ILLEGAL.

You can never go wrong with a Woolworths or at least I havent. Its a great store however they need to stock up on the Prawn chips. Been there over 10 times and still cannot find them. Are they discontinued? Or just not available in JHB?

Their bakery staff must have been changed as they were very friendly and helpful not like before. The only thing that really is bothersome is that they unpack their food especially in the fridges on a Sunday. Yes I agree the shelves and fridges were empty but the shop was busy and then the trollies with goods were standing in the aisles. Difficult to walk around them with your own shopping trolly

My favorite shop for fresh fruit & vegetables you simply cannot go wrong.

Our absolute favourite food store. The store is always clean, staff are friendly and the variety of food is perfect. The pre-packed meals are always good and really help when you dont have time to make dinner.

Another complaint about Elridge Woolworths. (Third 1 from me in 2 months) Just now wanted to buy mature cheese & chicken sosaties. No prices on shelves for these (this is norm in this store!)We got price for sosaties at till, but lady informed that we couldnt buy the cheese, because they dont know the price and dont have a bar code for it since it was the last 1. Really...? You need to seriously investigate how this store is managed.

The store is impeccably clean and service top-notch!That said, I find their product range more limited compared with their other stores in the neighborhood.Parking is hard to find, which makes a quick in and out challenging. That, however, in all fairness, can not be blamed on the store...

I have never experienced a cash teller with a more appalling attitude than I did during my payment at elridge. I absolutely love shopping at Woolworths and am always impressed by the cleanliness and quality of staff, however due to this minor incident El Ridge will surely not be seeing me again soon. I am sorry to the rest of this staff my rating will impact.

Once opened late, after 08h00. Sometimes dont have needed items and out of stock.

Woolworths El Ridge store has less variety and stock then East Rand retail park. Good service. All Woolworths stores have not had Almond milk available for over a month now. Tillers are friendly and neat and clean store

The produce is always fresh because the turnover is high. They always stick everything and are willing to go to the back if you cant find anything on the shelf. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. I love this Woolworths and I would recommend it to anyone.

Worst till service ever. Always more customers than operating tills.

Woolworths is always value for money. This particular shop always has specials on products and therefore I can afford a few things such as fruit for my parrot. Soup mixtures which usually are take two and you get a deduction. It is a lovely clean shop.

When its near closing time, the staff start removing the roasted chickens. I asked why I couldnt buy one and the lady said there were none, in the mean time there were a few. I eventually was able to buy one. No problem.

Woollies always have their own brand of good quality food. We never had any problem with any of the food or products we bought from El Ridge Woolworths. It is convenient and close to home and lots of other shops close by.

Don’t bother buying tissue oil here unless you’re prepared to wait forever for the cashier to convey the message to anyone working there that they have scanned an empty box and need to find the contents. This has happened numerous times, won’t bother again. Even the manager wasn’t interested in how I always have to wait even though it’s the first item I scan from my trolley and ask the cashier to find the contents. Very poor service and if the manager is that uninterested, then you can understand why the service is the was it is.............

Excellent fresh produce despite it being a bit pricey.

Nice Woolworths (food only). Usual Woolworths high standard but does stock some of the more unusual items. Only problem is there are too few cashiers. There is usually a queue.

Safe shopping

Shopping here is always good. However, today, the cashier pressed her buzzer to get a manager. She had to do it 3 times before she was attended to, the buzzer noise was very loud and shrill. Most annoying.

I bought a malva pudding and it was old and I cooked according to the time as given like I have done before but this one became like a stone I was very disapointed Could not even eat ir with a spoon

Woolies is always good when close to home. This one has had a lovely revamp and now hosts a bakery as well. As always Woolies cannot be big enough as their products are lovely.

Convenient stop for your shopping. Mondays are not always the best day for shopping as the shelves are not full.

Not very good. There is a special on.Ariel and I was charged the full price. I queried it and the lady at the check out went with me to check the price then the supervisor had to do the same thing. My husband was worried about me for taking so long for a couple of items.
