I dread everytime when I have to visit this branch. The service is so ridiculously slow. Its always empy with 4 people but you I have to wait an hour before getting served. This happens all the time! Why is such unprofessional behaviour allowed? Terrible to say the least.

After a previous horrendous experience at FNB Menlyn Mall, (waited for approx 1.5 hours to be served), I was pleasantly surprised with the outstanding service I received from Lasego Mashugi at the FNB East Rand Mall. Lasego identified the problem with my new credit card (error made at FNB Menlyn) and resolved it in an extremely professional manner. Lasego went one step further by identifying other banking needs and gave good sound solid advice.I have no doubt that this young man will go far in life as he is truly dedicated to good customer service. Thank you.

Estimated queuing time is 26 minutes to collect a card. They do have a collections section, just nobody there. They are not understaffed just under utilizing the facilities available.

Had a terrible experience here. I was assisting a friend who is required to have a bank account to receive his NSFAS funds. He received a letter from TUT confirming his residence address. The teller refused to help saying that it wasnt valid. I then took my lease agreement to apply on behalf of him. STILL they said it was invalid. Even though it was a signed by all parties and every page initialed. They were completely unprofessional and unwilling to assist.

Estimated queuing time was 28 minutes. However, I waited for an hour and a half just to go to the tellers. There were only about 4-5 people ahead of me. If your systems are up there is no excuse to take so long.

Have been waiting in the queue of about 20 people for over an hour at the 1 teller available and the queue behind me is another 20 people! 1 TELLER on a Saturday in december?? Ridiculous

Waited like 2 minutes. No ticket system for tellers which makes the cue seem to go a lot faster 👌🏻
