Nice place if you rent all the lodging for your family for the privacy.Our bathroom didnt have a light so couldnt use the shower in the night. One AC was not working. No basic things like toilet paper, dishwashing soap/sponge. Completely self catering.It was nice to have entertainment facilities like the table tennis board and pool table. However there was no working net for the table tennis board, board was slanted and it needs new rackets.Pool table was unclean, pool cues had no tips so couldnt play.Really nice view next to the river with BBQ area & also felt safe in general.Also, there were random cameras in the entertainment area. Would be nice to be given an explanation about this. We felt uncomfortable about this, especially as we value our privacy a lot.Would appreciate just more privacy & not to have management showing up unannounced with unexpected guests.Overall.. it was ok.

We have been going there for the last 6 years (excl. 2020 ☠). Excellent service, best location for angling and peacefull resting. NO disturbances. Table tennis, pool table and darts on the house keep everyone entertained. Conveniently close to SAPS, Spar, filling station, tea garden, pub, well equiped angling tackle shop, fast food outlets and whatever you need. Remember to fill up with cheap diesel at the end of town towards Kimberley.Jordaan family and friends.

Was on a business trip and stayed over for one night only. From what i saw you can have a big family gathering there. Lovely view and bonuses is a very big lapa, fishing spot and swimming pool.

Beautiful little homes with a/c. 4 houses can accommodate 7 people each (28 Total) but only has 20-25 m riverfront. Not for the avid fishermen.

What a nice venue. On the bank of the vaal river. The owner Magdalene manages the premises herself. The charlets are very neat and very well maintained. By far the best venue in Bloemhof. Driving distance to the dam. The fishing is very good and there is lovely grass right to the water. There is a pool available. Very friendly service. The charlets are mostly used by anglers. What a nice relaxing venue to stay at.s
