A very good student Centre. Offers a variety of fast food places, and stores where you can get essentials student material.

I havent seen such clean space for public eating that is better than Thakaneng, I always enjoy my meals there its so peaceful and students respect the covid protocols🙌🙌👑👑

Was Ok.Nothing thrilling.But has nice place for sitting and wifi connection.Has restuarants.

Its such a beauty

There are no shops that sell good healthy foods for low prices. An example is a shop with simple fruits. The only show that sells fruits is Foodzone. The rest is just fast food and other unhealthy food! Its a University. One would expect it to sell food that makes sense to our health. Thats the only downside I have acknowledged.

The bridge has a very nice view, you can enjoy your meal while looking out through the glass. Has Debonairs, Steers and other food stores

Nice place for students

It renders spectacular scenery as it joins the two sides of the UFS main campus. Although it is usually uncomfortably busy, the Bridge is a good place for one to relax and study during the late nights and the early mornings.

The Deli has to be the market leader restaurant at the Thakaneng Bridge. The chips sold there are so nice and dished in abundance. In actual fact, all the food provided there is awesome.

A lot of food stores

Fast food and drinks are easy to get, usually crowded during the day, peak hours are 13:00 to 18:30. Good meeting place for friend and group projects, open till late

It has a very nice view, you can watch everything that happens outside through their glass or window wall

What I like about it is that there are plenty of shops to choose from and the food they sell there are delicious and satisfying 😋

I love the bridge especially The Deli they sell some really nice chips. And the service are fast.

The fact that the place is full of students and academic people gives one a sense of belonging

The UFS Main campus well know bridge with different retail outlets for students including Vanskaik bookshop and South African banks

Its always brimming with people but there is a variety of shops so thats good. I just hate that its always full.

This bridge has convenient food stalls but they need to get more affordable ones for students and also increase the place so that it does not become overcrowded.
