Good Day,I am the Project Manager for a R1.5 billion project in the Lesotho Highlands. I am in the process of deploying numerous people into the field to collect data and to perform geological and hydrological testing and measurements. I am responsible for the procurement of equipment and logistics for the field trips.I recently purchased a Garmin Oregon 650 (approx. R8 000) from your store in Roodepoort. Dumisani, the salesman was very polite and helpful in assisting me in selecting the appropriate device for the task. Your store however did not have the suction cup that enables the GPS device to be mounted on the vehicle windscreen. I could not find it anywhere else on that particualr weekend.We have started using the device and found it extremely useful and were impressed with the level of accuracy - so Dumisani was right. We fear that the device will get damaged if just left lying around in the vehicle s the terrain is quite rocky. So i called Dumisani to ask if he was able to order the accessory so I could collect it on Saturday 10 June 2017. He must have struggled to get management to agree to this, as both he and another colleague (Willem) called me to say that I needed to pay a 50% deposit before they ordered the item.I am currently based in Maseru and travel to Johannesburg every two or three weeks - this coming weekend is one of them. I explained this to both callers and they were unfortunately unable to assist unless I pay the deposit.I will be deploying 17 people into the field over the next 12 months and they will all need varying types of equipment that your organisation stocks. So this is a potential one-stop supplier for my project. I am not asking for a line of credit as I will pay cash for every purchase that I make, as I did for the GPS.I am disappointed that your organisation is unable to assist me with this small item. I will be in Gauteng this coming weekend looking for a new supplier.PS - Please share the compliment with Dumisani. Id have given 5 stars for Dumisanis service, so the 3 star rating is not about him
