The bacon, cheese and tomato sandwich has a slim piece of bacon and barely enough cheese to be seen. Rather support the Mugg and Bean on the Go in town, the portions are much more generous there.

My all time fave chocolate mousse cake and peppermint crisp tart. Its always a must to pop by and have these two desserts.. love the atmosphere and amazing service.

Mugg and bean is the mother of all Restaurants in the Dihlabeng mall. Very easily accessible and fully compliant with Covid-19 health protocols. Meals are sumptuous and unique.

There portion of chips is much smaller than many other Mugg & Bean but there service is very good.

First time at M&B. Ordered cappuccino with cream, but cream was off! Asked my friend to taste and she said it was definitely off.Called the waiter, and I told her she must please take it back as the cream is sour. Came back with new cup, tasted the cream, they simply added sugar to the sour cream! Still waiting for the glass of water we ordered when we got there. Carrot cake definitely not the best Ive had. Service not that great. Wont go back.

You have the greatest menu with all these nice food & drinks on them. But the service is the worst I have ever had. We were there on Saturday afternoon. The place was not that busy when we were there. And still very poor service!!!! We had 3 waiters helping us, so every time you ask for something one of the others must help u. I had the new bottomless Kiki & Watermelon Fizz, it doesn’t help its bottomless if it takes 20-30min for a refill. we asked for the bill so that we can leave before my refill was even there. So, in total great food & drinks but worst service ever. You have to like the whole days’ time........

Mugg and Bean have created a product that leave you with a massive expectation every time you enter the restaurant. Unfortunately the Bethlehem one does not really meet that. The service is average the food takes longer than normal I suppose they assume you have all day when you get there, but at times you do go to a restaurant because you are actually hungry.. It feels as if they do what they have to and that is it, nothing great stands out and there is nothing bad either. Have a coffee and some tasty food.

Friendly and helpful staff!

Still one of my favorite coffee shops in SA. The menu has expanded so much that have any meal of the day is possible. Also apart from their amazing cake selection they recently added alcohol to their menu so when caffeine is not enough you can have so adult beverages. And dont be fooled by the coffee shop they have a wide variety of teas too.

Mugg & Bean Bethlehem is not your ordinary chain restaurant. I know most of the M&B in Cape Town and surroundings because thats the best place to meet my clients. This M&B food is amazing. Nicely presented. Prepared with a good knowledge of what work and what dont. Its classy and tasty. No wonder they receive the award for the best confectionery.

What is advertised on the menu, is not what you get! Fried spinach hardly 1/2 teaspoon, the poached eggs, ice cold, slightly larger than qual eggs, Avo sliced paper thin, 3 slivers, Haloumi not even half the portion advertised on the menu. We called the waiter who called the manager and both agreed that it was not the same as on the photograph. The manager offered to bring me more spinach, which we declined. One would think that after a terrible lockdown, eateries would brush up their act and serve quality - keep the customers happy. Of course we left unhappy. Will we have breakfast there again? Oh no! we feel exploited.

Tasty food that one can expect from Mugg and Bean, but the customer service is not really excellent. Have to wait long for orders and the waitress to attend to you. Order was taken but one of the items ordered was omitted and had to wait extra long for the bill, till I actually walked to the till to pay the bill. Clean environment, hygienic, but WiFi was not working. All else as expected in a Mugg and Bean. Would however wish that they would improve on the waitering.

Great service from the floor manager and knowledgeable about how to treat customers. I thoughroughly enjoyed every minute even though I do not normally feel comfortable in a busy restaurant. I would like to focus on the manager that was on duty for 30-05-2019. I believe his name is tubelo, I might be wrong, but thank you.

I suppose I am what you can call a regular, or rather, I was a regular. Stopped for a quick coffee, which they served me and before I could drink it, they asked me to move to a small table at the back, there was a family of 9 who wanted the table. I was shocked and looked around where they wanted me to go - there were no vacant tables. They brought me my bill and a paper cup. Shocking treatment, shocking! I reported it to management who of course did not even care to respond. The family of 9 also disappeared, probably also too embarrassed.

After a long three hour drive I was looking forward to the food and service Im use too from my favourite coffee shop. We ordered a take away due to the limited time we had and I was so disappointed to find my food distasteful with no sugar for my coffees nor my muffins which I paid for

Mugg and Bean, Bethlehem are shocking. We stopped there enroute to Clarens to get take aways,. When we walked in the staff were conglomerated at the back wall. No one bothered to assist or acknowledge us. Dont waste your time by going there, you wont get served.... :(

I have been here 4 times now, each one was a terrible experience. The food takes very long and is rarely prepared correctly. On one occasion the manager was sitting between the diners and having lunch while customers were complaining. Would not recommend.

Overpriced. Noisy. Food only passable, not good. We ordered two different types of coffee at our table and ended up with coffee that tasted the same. Waitress just shrugged and said we got what we ordered.
