Popped in just before closing last Thursday. We had lost a loved one earlier and it had been a long and stressful day. The staff obviously were not aware of this, yet everyone from the cashier to the manager were amazing. They offered helpful suggestions and were so accommodating and friendly. There was a woman behind the counter, I assume she was the manager, she has to he commended for her stellar service. She made us feel so welcome the entire time. The pizzas they suggested were simply divine! Its great to know that they have several vegetarian options and specials running right now. Even though its not located close to us we will happily be going back for the fantastic service & food!

Absolutely disappointed, I will never go there again! I have been a customer for many years and the food hasnt been of the same standard and quality lately. They have changed the recipes without considering what has made customers happy for years. The new recipes lack flavour and taste. The chicken Alfredo sauce used to taste Gourmet but it now tastes like processed sauce is being used. The Steak Arabiata has become bland and tasteless. They need to go back to the old recipes.

Good pizza but LOUSY service. Dont even answer the phones with uninterested staff. They think they doing you favours by taking your orders. Your business is not appreciated nor respected

Pizza is very delicious.But their 15 to 20min is like doubled your waiting time. I really dont know whether it is INDIAN time or if it is like a lady saying i will be ready in the next 15 minutes. Honestly no disrespect to anyone. But. I apologise in advance if I am wrong.

The pizza was very good. Loved the authentic base, crispy and delish toppings. However the pasta wasnt to my expectations, I had the gourmet butter chicken, for the prices that they charge the portions are ridiculously small. Hardly any filling and sauce, dried pasta is just thrown on top of the filling. Would not recommend anything else other than the pizzas

Long standing pizzeria in the middle of Overport. Muslim owned and managed so all food is strictly halal. Wide variety on the menu with daily specials . Unless eating in best to phone through orders as there can be a wait. Busy times at weekdays lunch and supper , and weekends . Has a indoor kids play area which is quite big good for kiddies birthdays or a place to let the little one to play safely in a secure environment. Additional halal fast food restaurants in the same building so you have a choice other than pizza and pasta . Namely Purple Burger a burger joint and a Thai food restaurant ( I forget the name) both have specials and nice menus . Prices are reasonable but the specials will give you a little more value for money. Has a very quaint seating area which envelopes an outdoor balcony seating as well . Staff are efficient and helpful. Parking is limited so I suggest on weekends or when having a kids birthday etc go early. They deliver at a price depends on location. Minimal off street parking with carguards.

Perfect every time! Thin crispy base pizza is the best, chicken jalapeño and Mexican 👌 also served sour dough pizza based which is awesome as my husband prefers a healthier alternative 😋

For wood fired thin crust pizzas, pastas, and burgers. They also offer Thai cuisine and Portuguese chicken.Excellent family restaurant and a play area for the kids. They are keenly priced and also deliver. Parking is available for motorists and is wheelchair accessible.Make sure to order early to avoid waiting.

If you had their chickenetto you will know what I mean.Its as distinct a taste as KFC, or McDonalds.I am truly surprised they havent seen the franchise potential for such a distinct taste.There are too many flavours on the menu, and that can easily be corrected.The other signature flavour creamy halapino has lost its distinctive taste. So its not a given that one can consistently reproduce a distinct flavour. No matter how careful.We order this for the office twice a month and its a real treat.Well done people.

The service was terrible. Food took to long to come to us. The staff were very rude. I ordered the cashew n chicken Thai dish and it was extremely salty, I couldnt eat it. Had to waste most of the dish. The pizza is really good n so is the burger, but the service needs some work. Either get new staff, or train the ones u have. N try n make the dishes faster.

Oh Em Jee, how did l not know about this precious Food Gem!!! Loved the ample room of the food houses together in the same area, ie..lets Thai, Purple Burgers, Caminettos...effeceint helpful staff, clean & neat, parking available on the same floor and walk in straight into the food houses.I tried the Chickenetto and Chicken Jalapeños mayo , it was simply delicious! I do prefer the double crust base.The Asian Veg and Chicken Thai food is way better than l had in Bangkok n Singapore l promise you, a must try guys!!! I will be promoting n supporting these food houses pretty often for someone who dont like cooking!

Is not Pizza. It’s Art. Try the chicken tikka as it’s a classic (pic) but everything else is also epic. And onsite options besides Italian pizza and pasta. Thai, Purple Burger, Portuguese Chicken and a massive kids area. Another Durban secret that white people do not know about. Overport is the heart of Durban.

The food took over 1 hour to arrive since placing the order. It was delicious.. However the lady behind the counter was just shouting at one or two of the staff and it wasnt a nice experience overall.. I would recommend you order for take away coz that environment was not nice with lady screaming so much

Id give u guys zero⭐ if I could because you just dont care about about customers.I was given an undercooked chicken and raw pita bread the only thing that was okay was the fried chips but then the portion size was half of what you normally serve, not even a single person has bothered to come back to me, only uber eats emailed me telling me that unfortunately they cant help me. The order took forever to arrive only to be given undercooked food. Please change your recent negative attitude of not caring cause Ive had great food from you guys before but what you delivered yesterday was unacceptable period.

Pathetic service...1 hour wait for order..Cashier looks like she needs a week off. Price advertised on menu and actual price on cash register are different and not in customers favor. Wont recommend ever. PLEASE check your receipts before you leave...

The owners never seem to take care of this vital aspect of people.. Over all these years.Training customer service. Waheeda is a gem tho at lest she is jacked.E.G two veg pizza for R120 or two Margherita for R100. I ask the lady can I have one Margherita and one veggie,you can charge me the R120. She says no the special is only for two other veg or two magaheritas! LOL

Decent food but not I love this world

The half roast chicken was disgusting . The masala was raw . The steak pizza was cold . The chips was stale and disgusting . After waiting 50mins to recieve pathetic food like that, is terrible . One of the worst halaal restaurants in Durban, dont waste your time going there.when we called the manager, they decided to argue and defy us and say thats how its supposed to be . Zero customer service and an immense amount of attitude and excuses.

Variety of choice from their famous wood fired pizzas to their baby chicken and also the Thai food on offer. Service is good and the sit down area is also neat and pleasant. The prices are affordable for good tasting food.

Bought a pizza on collection. Always had the problem of topping being unevenly spread(some slices with no meat).Brought it to managers attention this time and was told that it was how they make their food.

Terrible pizzas.We ordered 2 large Mexican pizzas.When the pizzas came, it had none of the promised toppings except mince.Im trying to find an email address for Caminettoes to contact the owner. But there isnt one listed on the site.Stay away.

They make it seem as if they doing you a favour to answer the phone and take an order. Even if the shop is not busy the staff dont wish to answer the phone. They are rude and have a dont care attitude.They have no appreciation for anyone business. If you ask them the phone number of the owner they get offended and rudely back chat you.

Waited more than 1 hour for our food (a standard size pizza). They are giving preference to Mr Delivery orders. Very little consideration for walk-in customers

On Friday (16/10/2020), I placed an order via uber eats at 18H30 and delivery was confirmed for 19H50. Uber Driver was at Caminettos at 19H40 to pickup up order , according to uber app updates food was being wrapped up. Delivery time was changed to 20H00, then changed to 20H10, again changed to 20H20 and eventually ORDER WAS CANCELLED at 20H30 by Caminettos with no reason supplied.An order being cancelled TWO HOURS after being placed is totally unacceptable !!!!

This is one of my favourite standard pizza places in Durban. Wood fired pizzas that taste really good. Problem is the wait, can take really long during busy periods, and I mean really long. I once waited over 50 mins for my pizza. The good thing is the fusion of Indian food and flavour on the pizzas, like the potato, or the bakes beans, etc - some pizzas on their menu are unique to them only. Parking can also be an issue. Tip: call and place your order in advance.
