My fiancee asked the petrol attendant (who was also apparently the supervisor) for R500 diesel on 25/04/2021. It is clearly visible when putting fuel in, that the car takes diesel only. When he arrived home, the engine was smelling and making an awful noise. We checked the receipt and true as Bob, theyd put R500 petrol. The car had to be towed as the damage was so bad, now we are battling 6 weeks later to get Medwood motors insurance to pay to have it fixed. They only want to pay R90 000 and the damage is R131 000 00. This leaves a shortfall of R41 000. I have had to get my attorneys involved as I have had no further communication from Medwood or their insurance as to how theyre going to resolve this. Why should we as the consumer have to cover this shortfall or be inconvenienced without a vehicle while the garage and their insurer decide on whos going to pay for the damage?Pay for your customers car to be fixed and fight it out with your insurer I say!!!!Unhappy consumer. If I could give you minus stars, I would.

Friendly and helpfull staff, but if you a taxpayer they have only the chinese type fadeaway till slips for invoices that fade away after a week or so, end of the year we have submit blank invoices to SARS..maybe Engen can help solve the problem with fuel purchases..

Their workers are rude and lazy this garage should be a convenience instead its an INCONVENIENCE always empty when u do need a quick snack on as for steers wish it was another restaurant there instead of steers..

Just popped into the shop to draw money and none of the staff were wearing masks properly or even at all. When questioned, a few shrugged and walked off. Another said her Engen branded one was too thick but generally the attitude was that it is just too much effort to protect themselves or their customers. Felt like I needed to go home and douse myself in antibacterial spray.

Terrible service from the cashiers inside the store. So Engen regularly run promotions. Currently they are running a promotion for a chance to win 1 of 4 VW Polo Vivos. You have to give your cellphone number the the cashier to enter. These ladies, who usually are either chatting with their friends or eating food from Steers outlet (they share the place) DO NOT ask the customers their numbers. Or maybe they choose who they give a chance to enter the competition? I cannot tell. Either way, service here is not professional.

I have a problem concerning the Albany bread sold at this particular garage I’m sorry to say but they are stealing slice of bread out of the packets every Albany 700g loaf of bread has 20 slices but I’ve been noticing that they only have 18 slices. This for me is a concern as it means there is tampering going on and this imatter raises hygiene concerns.I will be reporting the matter to the department of health. As if the bread is being tampered with what else could get put into the bread, very unhappy

Great garage with a decent shop incorporating a small Steers outlet. Also has a decent car wash.

Not a bad garage. The staff are friendly and the Steers is nice. But the place does feel small nd a bit dingy.

Trainee petrol attendent was very rude to me yesterday, actually walked away while I was still talking to him, after making me wait for almost 10 minutes just to tell me that the petrol point I was in had no petrol....Is that that are they being trained to do???to treat custmers like trash??? Shame on you.

Conveniently located. As students we used to buy burger and chips here for around R4. That was when there was a Bimbos still.
