McGintys is a great hang out place with your friends, the food is great, garlic snails starters are some of the best you are going to get. Brenda was our waitress and highly recommended. In all, we had fun here after spending about 2 hours, mostly for the drinks. If you havent checked it out yet and you are a fan of McGintys or the Irish pub scene, do visit. This is where I will be on St. Patricks Day.

This is one of my favourite pub/restaurants in Benoni. I am a T11/T12 paraplegic, and its always challenging to find a place thats wheelchair friendly. This place has it all - toilet, good food, friendly staff, and good management, and good prices. It is an ideal place to take out the family for an evening meal.

Food is always great here. Prices are very affordable. There are TVS for sport watching and a large smoking area. Ample parking.

MC Gintys has the best food in Benoni, and best value for money. The waiters are busy thus making service a bit slow.

We had a horrible experience on 3 seperate occasions, staff and manager had extremely bad attitudes and were unforgivably rude!! We will not be returning.

Always liked this place. Havent been there in 5 years until recently. Service was good. 1 complaint, and its rather bourgeois, the manager didnt seem to know much about beer. There, Ive said it. Im a bourgeois beer drinker. On Thursdays.

No Guinness available, not even in a can. Manager closed the bar at 09h00. All patrons felt so unwelcome by the manager that the place was empty by 09h30. Nice going lads.

Im actually underrating this place, its a proper four star restaurant that server the best food. I havent been to a place that has better customer service, they often check to see if youre still okay and I found it to be a lot more affordable compared to other top notch places.Its spacious and it is the perfect place for b grabbing a couple of beers or not.

What a lekker place to get together with your mates and have a drink and some chow! You can even get a game of rugby or soccer in as well! The food and the service is incredible and its really affordable as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Fast attentive service, well priced, great food from a great menu. Parking is not an issue. Feels more like a restaurant that is laid back, than a pub. Definitely the place to relax after a hard day or week.

Awesome pub. Its clean, friendly staff, they have guineas on tap which is a added bonus for beer drinkers and about any type of alcohol beverage you could want. The food is exceptional and better than most franchise restaurants and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality food you get. The Eisbein is a must. I wouldnt say its a good place for kids but good for groups or a casual date.

The area is spacious enough to allow you to enjoy the atmosphere without losing your privacy, and they have TVs up so you can watch the game. The food is affordable and not bad, although sometimes they do use too much garlic. Its a nice selection of comfort foods. The staff are always friendly, although service is a bit slow. My husband had to ask for an ashtray 3 times before getting up and fetching one himself.

Good few drinks after work. Plus a few baskets of snacks. World Cup cricket on all the TVs.The Irish pub is much better than our cricket!... or is it? 🤔We were served a terrible basket today! (19-Jun) Inedible chicken wings! 😣 sent them back to the chef to eat! To his credit the manager was very apologetic and offered replacements!

Friendly staff, great menu and good food

Never had a bad meal and visit more often than I should, the portions vary from reasonable to huge. Great spot for major sporting events and the vibe is always awesome. Prices are good for both food and drinks and they have a wide selection of beers(if that tickles your fancy). Not the best place for craft beers but they do have a few to choose from but as an Irish bar, I doubt thats important to them. Definitely not a place I would recommend for kids though.
