Awesome selection of food. The mushroom and cream spinach steak was divine and done to perfection. Their prices are really reasonable. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is really great and well priced, especially the rib basket. The waitors are always friendly and go out of their way. The best night to go is a Friday when they have the live band. There is a bar, dance floor and a few slot machines upstairs with a balcony, but they also cater to families in the downstairs area with a jungle gym outside.

The best place for a truly delicious Portuguese steak. I highly recommend Grid & Griddle and will definitely be back.

Have their meaty pizza the other day aswell, absolutely delicious.Gridd n Grill has been one of our favorites since before Dischem was built at Rynfield Terrace and we all chilled a the Keg.... Consistently good food and atmosphere, BUT violating smoking laws is unacceptable! Smoking is allowed indoors at the bar and at the tables upstairs!!! Endangering your customers and staffs health in exchange for business is worthy of a hefty fine!

And we were only helped once the restaurant was eventually online as advertised... We received a burger with a raw patty and tasteless baskets. What a waste of my money! R400 WASTED! And I am still waiting for my 1st tries refund.... Dont waste your money or time...

Thursday nights are Prawn night special. You get 12 queen prawns, chips or baked potatoes rice and a few strips of carrots plus a choice of lemon butter sauce or garlic butter sauce all for R110. All their food is devine. Rest room available and wheel chair friendly. All friendly staff provides a first class service. Fully licensed.

My husband and I went today & had some drinks and a snack basket. We were halfway through and then tasted the chicken nuggets and the chicken was off. The Manager also tasted tasted it and agreed that it was off. He apologized and said the chicken only came in yesterday. So obviously he took the rest of the food away. We were not offered another basket. When we asked for the bill they charged us for the food but took R20 off the bill. What an insult. We told the waiter we would not pay for the food and only then did they take it off the bill. We are regulars here and always enjoy the food. How can the Manager treat us like that.

Amazing food. Only bother is the slow staff that are there during the day! My sister and I ordered a pizza and a steak between ourselves. I did not taste the pizza but it was filled with toppings and lots of stringy cheese. I had the steak. It was cooked to perfection and had an amazing tasted sauce. The chips have great potential but some if them almost tasted stale.

The Grid and Grill was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the food was delicious and the portions were larger than we expected.Parking may be abit of a problem on busy nights but overall was a nice place to spend the evening! Definitely recommended for younger couples if you enjoy the pub scene.For older couples the restuarant has a lovely setting and the food is truly out of this world.

Nice for the young crowd with live music and good food

This place I found whilst visiting the East for a friends babyshower. It was also the day of the Rugby World Cup Final 2019 and I was not going to miss that for anything. My friend and I drove around and after being disappointed by the RocoMamas in Rynfeld, which did not have a television on only the biggest day in 2019 for South Africa sport; we found the Grid and Grill Pub. We would not have know theres a pub there if it were not for the GPS taking us there and having a car guard confirm that there is a pub there. There is no visible signage unless we missed it somehow. When we went in we were told that upstairs was fully booked and had to find a sit downstairs. The deco is very modest and there are no frills here. The waiter took our drinks order and asked that we wait to order the food. This took quite a while and we had begun to think he forgot to take our food order. When we could eventually order we ordered a pub style food basket and for R100 we were not disappointed. The chips are proper slap and delicious. There rest of the finger foods were also delicious. The samoosas however had a very thick pastry which is less nice than the original pastry. The one disappointing factor which had influenced my rating was that they gave us very dusty plates to eat from. A patron at a table next to us complained of getting dirty glasses with his drinks. This was unfortunate as everything else was fairly good except for the slow service and dirty crockery. If I find myself in Rynfeld I would go back and hopefully get a chance to venture to the more favoured upstairs.

Great specials, good food that is otherwise very reasonably priced. They have an upstairs Bar area which i have not used since we usually sit downstairs with the kids. There is a kids play gym outside and TVs with sport on the inside, great match. This is a must visit!!

Great specials and good food. Spare ribs delicious as are the mouth watering salads. Try the biltong, feta and avo salad. At R65 its very reasonabke, enough for 2 people.
