Attended an event here with a set sit down menu. Though Im not a fan of seafood or fish at all, the starter was good. The main course with pork belly and crackling was great. Crackling was properly crunchy, the roast potatoes perfectly crispy. The creamed spinach and also the gravy were my favourites, so flavourful!Dessert was also amazingly done, not too much and not too sweet.Decor is lovely with seating outside for a more romantic intimate feeling.

Every meal at this restaurant is always wonderfully made and presented. A real gem in Benoni- introducing delicious homemade Italian cuisine to the East Rand. I also have to say, the best burger I have ever had in Benoni was served here, therefore stating that a lot of great fusion food gets made in this kitchen. This restaurant has daily specials, both for sit down and delivery. Do yourself a favour and have a meal at Asiago!

Went on a very cold Thursday lunchtime, restaurant very quiet bt had a fabulous pizza and yummy cocktail. Been a while since I have been to Asiago but will return soon

We recently attended a Bingo evening at @asiago in aid of raising money for 2 charities. It’s the first time I have been to Asiago, and it was so much fun. The restaurant was completely full for the evening, and you could easily see that there were many friends and family in attendance and also regulars of the establishment.On arrival we were given a welcome drink, which was my kinda drink called Zinger – Homemade lemonade, fresh mint and a splash of Vodka, served chilled it’s a winner.They have a good variety of food on their menu, and also check out their specials board with some additional options to choose from. For starters my family and I ordered:~The cheesy Garlic Prawn Loaf, it definitely had enough garlic, but the bread got a bit too hard to bite, I think maybe if its cut down the middle and the toppings put half inside, would help. The Asiago Ritz, this was nice but it was more Avo than anything. Mac n Cheese balls with bacon, tasty and full of flavour. Wood fired chicken wings, Italian style. Cooked well and nicely spiced.The Bingo was about to get underway, so we placed our mains order in the meantime. While waiting I decided to try one of their G&T’s and wow, I picked a great combination. I ordered the Tincture Alchemical Gin, comprising of Kiwi, Mint, Lime Gin, Lychee Juice, and of course tonic. I will happily have that again and again.Bingo then started, and it was such fun, Michael from Footlights entertainment got everyone ready and eager to scream BINGO as soon as they could, its sad to know he is emigrating to the UK, but wishing him all the best in his new ventures. It was lovely to meet you.For mains I tried the beer battered hake and chips, the fish needed to be cooked a bit more but it was nice with the tartare sauce and skinny fries. My family had the Pork Belly with Sweet potato mash and veggies, the crackling was divine and was properly crackled as i would call it 🙂; the Ravioli, and the Prawn Tempura starter portions.All in all, great meals, super service and a fun vibe.Thanks to Bridget and Shirley, for a lovely evening and food, it was fun being part of the Bingo evening. Also a thanks to Thembi and the rest of the wait staff for superb service. I have to give a special mention to the fact that all the waiters and even the “barman” were Woman. Nice food tucked away in a discreet location... a true hidden gem. They do offer takeout and even deliver special meals to your door personally. They are available on Mr D Food for an easier time while not having to leave your residence however the true appeal of the venue is not only the gourmet food, but rather the warm and inviting environment truly making it a place that I will visit time and time again

Didnt enjoy the pasta or the pizza we ordered. The pizza was cold, the pasta lacked sauce .

We were there for a Murder Mystery dinner, and we were excited by the prospect of some great Italian food. It wasnt to be. We got cold Sunday roast and veg. They missed an opportunity to showcase their talents to a restaurant full of people who would have run out and told all their friends. I have no reason to return there.

Awesome food and a wonderful venue.Asiago has an extensive menu with lots of amazing options. I picked chicken wings to start and lamb ragu ravioli to follow and both were delicious and filling for a lunch time meal.Would highly recommend!

Little hidden gem. Food is always superb and the staff friendly and attentive. Try the carpaccio to start and the lemony calamari as a main. Also a firm favorite are the polpette (little meatballs) and the pizzas are delicious. Sunday lunch .... what more can I say. Shirley can be found in the kitchen helping to cook up a storm and Richard makes sure customers are happy.

Nice atmosphere, modern decor, love the outside seating. Service is unrushed, great place to meet and sosialise with friends and have a conversation as there is no blaring music in the back ground. The place was packed yet the service was good. Food was great, their pastas are totally divine and home made!

Its such a hidden little gem, fantastic food ,to awesome waiters. Nice family spot. I ordered the calzone....and whatnot got was a huge surprise, I had to take it home and had lunch for the next day!I will go back soon

We were there for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Their polpette is as Italian as it gets, served with fresh homemade pasta. Their gin selection is out of this world and we really enjoyed the service from our lovely waitress. Will definitely be back!

A lovely authentic Italian restaurant with traditional dishes.

Arrived there on Friday and we seated ourselves. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to attend to us. After which, we left to go to another restaurant. They were not busy. Just think that the owner could pay more attention to new clients coming in through the doors.
