It was a lovely experience picking strawberries and blueberries. Everything is very neat and organized. Some of the food in the little restaurant could be improved. However, I would definitely recommend stopping here. Such a cute place and great atmosphere.

It was fantastic fun to walk through the plants and pick our own strawberries amd blueberries. It is very well kept and very clean. I would have liked to see 1 or 2 vegan options on the menu but they have a nice play area for the kids

It’s worth the drive out to Benoni (East Jozi). Pick strawberries or blueberries (when in season) then sit down at the restaurant for something to eat. Menu is limited but really delicious.

The Country Kitchen Deli & Strawberry Farm is an Amazing place to visit for the entire family. We went during the Holiday season in January as there werent much else going on in the area. Found out about this place through friends and decided to go, and we were surprised, this place is Awesome! From the fresh strawberries to the honey that can be purchased in their store. We had the waffles, my wife opted for the Spinach and feta waffle and I settled for the classic waffle with fresh cream, the presentation was Excellent and beautiful. 5 out of 5 from me and Highly recommended. We will be back soon.

It was an amazing experience really enjoyed the blueberry and strawberry picking.The food was amazing as well as the drinks.For anyone planning to go definitely get the Asian pulled pork burger

What a treasure...from the front gate to when you leave you are made to feel so welcome. Strawberries are sweet, coffee house great 5 out of 5, the cake amazing. You need to experience this...wonderful place to take children.

Great picking for the whole family, really delicious jams in the shop and the cafe is great for a bite to eat with a milkshake.

First time we werent impressed but this second visit was really a game changer, food was cooked perfectly, coffee tasted amazing. My wife and child couldnt get enough of their milkshakes. We will definitely recommend this place going forward

A 2 in 1 outing for old and young. Have you ever been Strawberry picking at a farm. Well Benoni now has this Mac FRESH SHOP & Cafe with Country Kitchen - Benoni where you can sit and have something to eat, and before or after go Strawberry or Blueberry picking for some fun.We ordered the Chimichurri burger, Asian pulled pork wrap, and lastly a Spinach and Feta Waffle with Caramelized Onions. Washed down with some Lovely coffees and took in some Vitamin D. Enjoyed my burger and chips.Our waitress gave great service and yes again, Ive forgotten her name. Need to remember to write it down or do my reviews quicker lmfao. What a pleasant surprise!? Excellent and fast service from the restaurant team on a BUSY Saturday, delicious food, we had the spinach and mushroom waffle, chicken mayo sandwich and the softest freshest scone. ALL YUMMY!!! Kiddies play area was a hit and this is not to mention the fresh berry picking. All round delight! We cant wait to come back!

The berry picking was great but the restaurant is very slow and you need to ask 7 times for a glass of water.

Very pleasant outing for the family. Berry picking and decent lunches are served. There is a play area for kids and a small shop as well. Being quite popular, it seems to be very busy which is the only drawback and can hardly be faulted against despite my personal preferences.

What an amazing place!! The country kitchen deli and strawberry farm turned out to just be around the corner from us and we enjoyed it so much!! You get to pick your own strawberries and the buy what you have bought and take them home to enjoy the deliciousness. Perfectly centered, it feels like you are truly in the country side. We loved every moment. There is also an on site restuarant in the form of a food truck to give you that truly rustic feels. With a play area for the kids this is definately a great place to enjoy and relax with the family. With an easy going but gourmet menu their is so much to choose from. I would definately recommend this as a fun day out.

What an experience! The fruit is lovely, and so juicy.The food served is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It will become a local spot for us for sure.

Booked for mothers day 2 weeks in advance and upon arrival we were told that our table had been allocated to someone else. We stood around for 15 minutes and still nothing had been done and we had to go searching for somewhere else last minute.We werent the only patrons who had been turned away after booking there seemed to be many unhappy people. Moreover, no social distancing protocols were in place, everyone was on top of each other.

Because the place is so busy the service is atrocious! We had to wait half an hour before we saw a waiter. Then their best product on the menu was unavailable as they had run out. By 10am in the morning? Thats just bad planning. Then all the strawberries had already been picked by the time we got to pick. You have to pick early morning otherwise you will be left with scraps and unripe product. For us it was an unpleasant experience and we will not be going back.

So sad that they were closed, although the website said open.
