Excellent service and helpfull!! They have a variety of food. They need to get a variety of Nescafe Coffees!!!

The cashiers are very rude. ...no smile no greeting. .not friendly at all. ...I sujest to all customers to submit a petition to management and the owner to do something about it. ...since the owner of checkers doesnt care. .... the owner must bring woolworth or spar. ....to the centre. And get rid of the workers

The Employees at this checkers are full of it. I have been to this store more than 4 times now and the always complain then l want to pay with coins. I get a lot if R5 coins and this last incident irritated me the most because my bill was R100, she literally did not want to serve me.It is illegal to refuse any kind of money issued by the Reserve Bank and if the management doesnt address this issue l am going to report this matter. I must comfortably shop with the money l have at any given time of the day without someone making it an announcement as though its going into their pocket!!!Its either the Employees are being a problem or its a reflection of what they have been instructed by their employee nevertheless respect my money and treat me like any other customer!!!!

I asked for carton of cigarettes at cig counter. Betty served me. Then she proceeds to ignore me and chat to someone else.So rude

I love the new reward program theyve launched... giving me more incentive to shop there. They have awesome bargains and very comparable to other businesses... if not better💯💯💯

Got some grocery items yesterday which i needed for my home (Eg burger patties ,toilet paper ,etc) .

I honestly hate shopping here. The cashiers are probably the slowest in Benoni.Hey have good specials every now and then, but there are always unused paying points and we always have to stand in a long que to pay.

Not the first time... the staff is so busy with their own stuff like chatting and laughing... or literally standing in front of a entire rack counting personal money.. and only moving when you ask them to directly..or cashiers who dont listen to you, etc. That is not customer service. I feel like Im intruding on their time.. while I just want to get out as soon as possible!

What a horrible experience and a reminder why I dont support this shop or any other Checkers, for that matter! Super slow cashiers, no packers, or 1 for 4 tills!!! Staff are rude and loud! Thanks for reminding me that Pick n Pay is still THE BEST!!!

Usually dont have stock of specials. Forever having to ask for a rain check . Fridges forever defrosting. Icicles on boxes. Ice cream melted and frozen again. Frozen veges the same. Dont get your frozen stuff here. Forever changing Store Manager.

Plenty of products from which numerous brands offer. Clean all of the times I have visited.

Im not happy, Over the weekend I bought fruit , just to find that its not fresh anymore when I got back home in Delmas where I;m staying. Some of the fruit was rotten and not suitable to eat. I also bought Focassia bread to eat in the car... it was so hard, I could not eat it.

Easily accesible and at reasonable proces

Waiting outside Checkers Northmead square. Its 8:50 and they supposed to open at 8am. We have been on the queue since 7:55. No one is saying anything to the growing line of irritated customers. Looks like they are having some sort of meeting, cos at some point the staff was singing. We are watching all this. Its rude. Just tell the customers you are opening late. Whats worse was the guy who was hosting the meeting came out, passed us then went in without acknowledging the customers.

Badly managed. Chaos. Trolleys all over the place. Empty shelves. Careless staff. Meat stinks. Whole centre going backwards.Rather go to another centre and Pick n Pay

Merchandising is terrible... Always check the prices on the shelves and compare it to the product, so that you do not get a surprise, or scammed at the till...

This place has the rudest staff/ tellers, they cant greet you, barely greet you back, shove your groceries in a bag, I literally had to re packbas they through everything in a bag on top of bread, wont support this place again, Staff act like they owe us something

Convenient place to shop. Has a good variety of merchandise and their prepared food also is good. A good place to pick up odds and ends while the take away food in the area gets prepared.

Ive recently moved into the area and I find this to be one of the best Checkers I have gone to in some. Very friendly and helpful staff and quick services.My only complaint is that there are birds flying in the rafters.

Terrible experience. I found a disgusting piece of thread or cloth in their Basmati rice. I have called them countless number of times and they keep ignoring me. Even went as far as emailing Head Office and still no response!!!! Utter nonsense!

Majority of the trolleys are broken. We used three different trolleys, the wheels were basically falling off. A terrible shopping experience at best.

Very slow service. Actually these people need customer service training. Worst checker ever. They never wash their trolleys either. My experience here was absolutely terrible!!!

Very very crowded.

The only checkers that refuses to exchange their own products. They refuse to exchange the nappies for a bigger size as I dont have the slip. Checkers needs to take lessons from Clicks, Game, Dischem and Pick n Pay. They will exchange baby nappies even when it wasnt bought from them. These nappies were bought from checkers as confirmed by their own system hoewev they refuse to exchange it.

We always shop here because its convenient as they are open till 8PM. Service is usually good.

Their meat is always rotten. Not once have I bought meat that that has been fresh. The butchers have no pride in their work. Doesnt matter if the centre was upgraded, still same old old. Fish guy is very nice and fish is fresh. But that is it. Management is horrible, can even pick it up from the crappy attitude from the cashiers.

Did not have all the items on my shopping list. Found expired food items on the shelf. Service can improve.

Most terrible pies I have ever eaten bought 4:prime steak pies I think it was prime soup pies couldnt eat it needed a spoon.Service at tills also terrible and slow.A waste of money al of us throw our pies away was so soggy and tastes likr dog food.

Till staff are sulky and very unfriendly. They often start a loud conversation with their colleague whilst handling your groceries to avoid eye contact or interaction with you as the customer. This unfortunately has been the common behaviour since the shops opening.
