Recently spent two nights. Cottage was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Took a walk that was ideal for the unfit person that wants to enjoy nature. The hghlight of our stay was the show at night; stars all the way down to the horizon and the milky way clearly visible.

Really excellent value for your money. It was a green oasis with well upkept lawns and gardens. The views of the olive groves were relaxing and lovely. The chalets were super clean although it was a bit old-fashioned and needed a bit of refreshing. Thank you for great service and your hospitality.

Such a lovely relaxing stay. Spent time lounging at the pool while the kids played. Beautiful farm and friendly staff. Scrumptious breakfast.

As a rule I would give a 4 star for a place with this splendour....However, if you have 12 units and 3 guests, DO NOT PLACE THEM IN UNIT 1 2 AND 3 right next to each other.People like privacy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive Grove. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The 3 course Karoo Lamb main meal was deliciously prepared. We also enjoyed their Olive Paste (for sale).

A perfect pet-friendly place. So welcoming, and attention to detail is worth a lot more than what they are charging. Great value in the Karoo and nice to be off the beaten track. Good hikes and birding. The food is also homely and prepared with love. I will definitely come back.

An Oasis in the Karoo, pet friendly, A true escape from city life. Perfect for a family vacation. If you seek tranquility and relaxation this is the place to go.

Tranquil olive eco farm offering basic but comfortable accommodation with excellent food. The manager, Dawina, is very friendly and hospitable. We walked on the porcupine trail to the top of the hill overlooking the farm and watched the beautiful Karoo sunset. The antelopes and vervet monkeys on the way were very skittish. The olive grove is a green oasis in an otherwise desolate and arid landscape but so interesting. We will definitely stay there again as we were made to feel so welcome by Dawina. We would highly recommend it for a stop over. The olive products they sell are excellent too

My wife and I stopped in on our way to Cape Town from Kruger. For the Karoo area its likely one of the better hotels. However the front gate is key coded, that was never given to us. We ended up walking close to 2K to get the code... breakfast is not free, dinner is overpriced as well. Temperature for the room was not consistent, bathroom is pretty basic, and there is a daily limit to the internet use.

Tranquility at its best. Nice stop to rest and enjoy the farm feeling of the Karoo...

We stayed in their clean comfortable units. Family of 6. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast.Greatly prepared and tasty, great variety of drinks. Staff very helpful and helpful. Have a great walk on their hiking trail, experience Karoo firsthand. Easy goats, chickens, geese etc. go around everywhere but do not damage vehicles ... really quiet and beautiful!
