If you are vegetarian, even if youre not, ask for their jackfruit vegan chicken and halloumi. Put it in a burger or a panini or even a salad. Their vegan chicken made of jackfruit is super good. The cakes are always good here. The salad dressings are tasteful. This place is decently inexpensive as well.

Always friendly staff with great quality food. Casual dress with pets on leashes welcomed, sitting outside under lovely shade canopy. Steak prepared perfectly to taste, accompanied with super fresh chips, sauces, egg. Calamari bite size deep fried in batter with delicious sauce and side dishes. Never disappointed. Lamb shank when available is the best. Specials of a variety of mouth watering dishes. 👍🏻🦋

When we arrived, the whole village was experiencing a power failure, but that didnt stop Village Bistro from serving us a tasty meal and in record time. Perfect for both a quick bite and a leisurely visit. Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, friendly and engaging staff and owner, and a decent menu selection.

During our Strandloper hike early in 2018. . .we had a very tough approach towards Chintsa East. . .doing most of our 20+km day in stormy winds and heavy rain. Drenched in rain with weary legs Lynn didnt hesitate to take us in . . .dripping as we approached. . . to enjoy a huge but super delicious lunch and a mug of hot chocolate.Lynn is the Angel of the Strandloper trail. . .with a heart, hospitality and a bistro that few can match.
