Yesterdays experience.1. Couldnt find a salesperson to help.2. Too few sales people. Seems staff has been trimmed back to the point where customer service is being compromised.3. Some plants in nursery were dead.4. The only good point of my visit was Mr Mondli, a salesman. He helped me find what I was looking for.5. Many items are not priced, and coupled with the lack of staff, makes for a poor shopping experience.

As always..friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic stock holding and managed to get a 57 tooth cbain saw chain...have tried all over S.A ...is apparantly very rare. Well done Builders Team.

Despite stock showing on the website, staff insisted they did not have what I wanted. They then said it was a mission to get stuff from the back and that I should go to Seabreeze e- build instead. So I did and had a much better experience.

Please restock and organise shelves. Last 3 visits I left without finding basics

We shop here quite often as my husband is an electrician. Mostly we find that their prices are more expensive, the staff are not very friendly or polite. I am a strong believer in customer care, to me the staff dont really care, they just employees doing a job. But I suppose most of Mass Marts business are the same. I just wish that the basic customer care principles, manners, politeness, and honesty would be brought back.

Good variety of things. Lovely staff. But prices are too high. Double the price for the same quality goods at competitors. Lady from gardening was very curt and impatient. However still worth a visit for specialist goods for the home. If youre buying big ticket items be sure to look around before you pay.

Just visit there and feel the exellent service quality building material and a shop full of stock.

Warning to all Online buyers, WORST service ever received from Builders Online. I purchase 2 items on the13th May, I have sent a mail to the info address on the 13th May requesting assistance, as these was birthday gifts, only to receive a response of a 48 hour respond time, it has been more than a month past and still waiting for this reply / response. Got my family in SA to call (I live overseas), the call center takes forever to answer, and if do they keep passing you from person to person with no resolution. Part of my order was received, the balance still pending.I highly recommend and suggest you consider using an alternate supplier as Builders will never see my or my family business ever again.

Went in to pick up an online order with no idea how the process worked yet managed to effortlessly collect my order within a few minutes.An email with a receipt of my purchase was also emailed to me in no time which is great for keeping track of purchases as well as reference for the warranty on the products purchased.

Great store friendly and helpful staff. Victor in the timber cutting area most helpful. He saw I had perspiration dripping from my face while waiting for my cuts. He took me to the workstation, got me a stool and turned the fan on for me. Going above and beyond.Thank you.

Cant get a price over the phone. You go through a call center where they call the store by then your airtime is finished. Work on a direct line for the stores. Thank you

You will find sth unexpected, But worthy to buy, inflow and outflow not too crowded, especially present situations made this. Plus, best range of DIY furnitures, inexpensive and quite durable, will save more money if choose from here, indeed. I will visit regularly for sure.Dood luck everyone!

A compact but efficient member of the Builders Warehouse group. You will find most of you hardware needs hear with some really good service and sound advice.

Sales staff are helpful enough. Cashiers rather have conversations between themselves than worry about the customers queued, waiting several minutes to cash up. The staff at the loading point seem to be incompetent of even the simplest of tasks. The attitude stinks as well. I paid for 45 pockets of NPC Black,told the despatch team and sales person im going to load it 15No at a time. They said they had stock. I get here for my 2nd load of 15 and they only load 14, and say they sold the rest that I already paid for. Incompetence to too nice of a word to describe the staff here. Riverhorse branch puts these guys to shame.

Went in there to get a few things for home repair and maintenance, and left with a bottle of water after spending 1 hour there. Lots of items are not priced or their price tags were missing. There were man floor assistants but not 1 approached me or offered help at all. I understand its Covid times but help can be given to you from 2m apart. I wanted to buy a chain saw and the most affordable 1 I was interested in was opened and looked like it was used, I ask two people for help and 1 ignored me and the other pretended to be busy and walked away. The cashier was none the better as I asked for a price check on a few items, she would tell me as she wanted me to look at her till screen to see the prices which was partially glared over from my angle of view as I didnt want to get to close.I looked around on my way out for a floor manager / supervisor but nobody.Sadly, I will not return to this Builders as it is one of the worst service experiences Ive had in a while.

Builders Express Amanzimtoti is the best DIY store in Amanzimtoti.You can find equipment and tools there which you cannot find elsewhere in Amanzimtoti.Their service is very good as well and offer pensioners discount days.Excellent Management and staff.

I was looking for a price tag for a product in a shop, the lady that was helping me took her own time up until the other lady stepped in and helped me, I lost interest the way I was treated, Im a customer I must come first.

Disappointed in the service from builders. Today 17 Feb 2020 Having to stand around waiting for assistance. Ending up having to specifically ask for help. Was eventually directed to the correct person in the department who did not have the courtesy to even acknowledge that I requested assistance. She Only continued with what she was busy with. Needless to say I stood around waiting for about 10 minutes before leaving without being attended to.
