Good service and prices

Over the past December holiday, I received a pair of Nike running shoes as a gift. Unfortunately the size was to small and the shoes were bought in Ballito.The shoe code on the Box was torn off along with the price tag, which means that the stores cant scan the box to locate shoes in a close proximity. The person who bought the gift also lost the slip.I first went to the Kollonade branch (hopeful) that they will be able to assist me ... the 2 sales staff on the 8th of December was the most unfriendliest and unhelpful ever, only saying that they cant do anything about the situation and continued labeling stock and counting boxes.On the 9th of December I decided to visit the Menlyn branch, where Pearl (Sales assistant) was going out of her way to find the code for the shoes in order to assist me further. Going to war over the phone at other branches she was determined to locate our purchase slip and the shoe code which she did.I was then sent to Wonderpark as they had the size I was looking for. I visited the store on 12 January. Apart from the music playing so hard that you cant hear yourself talk, I had the privilege of meeting another pair of unenthusiastic staff members who located the pair of shoes they had available and was willing to exchange my brand new clean pair of Nikes, for a pair that was used on the floor that had dirty foot marks on the inside of the shoe, evidence of 1000s of people who fitted the shoe, clearly without socks.Needless to say - I left the store with the same pair I received for Christmas. The thought of offering customers hand-me-down, dirty shoes that was going for the same price as my brand new pair is shocking. The fact that this kind of service is perceived as being acceptable, clearly states that customer care, - focus, - loyalty and satisfaction are elements not highly valued by this national brand.I will never in my life buy or support a TotalSports.The service is a disgrace, the store facilities (Wonderpark - extremely dirty) unpleasant and the horrible staff that treat you as if you owe them a favor is disgraceful.
