Wonderful, imaginative areas for the kids to play in. Jaw dropping beautiful Chapel. An old family graveyard and to top it all off Breakfast was fantastic and service excellent. We will be back!!

Bosjes is a destination not to be missed! The chapel with its unique architecture based on the wings of an eagle is absolutely beautiful. The acoustics in the chapel are amazing. No wonder its such a popular wedding venue. The gardens with water running through and the beautiful sound of birdsong are soothing to the ear! We had coffee and apple crumble and carrot cake at Spens and it was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. Please do visit when you are in the area. Absolutely ☆☆☆☆☆☆ (6 stars).

Was a great day at Bosjes unfortunately because of the covid restrictions we couldnt site down and eat but that didnt stop us from having a great time. Friendly staff amazing space for young and old, our favourite part was the adult jungle gym with a big slide and a zipline makes a person feel like a kid again. The weather wasnt the best but still a great day was had.

Loved the water feature with the Black Swans and the Karoo walk area. The new Spens Restaurant are not coping with client arrivals. Seating not available, took takeout to the childrens play area above. Was worth it! The area is a science class with clever play equipment teaching about water, weights, climbing . Our grandson was hooked on the digger mechanism. So so clever. Thank you!

We did not allocate enough time and therefore will be back soon soon to spend the entire day the beginning with the tea garden and making our way through all that they have to offer. The scones and cupachino was to die for.Well done BOSJES. You make us proud

What a beautiful establishment. The food was top class, even though we felt it to be quite limited in choice. Lucky us(celebrating 25 year of Union) came across this beautiful tranquil Space. Known as Bosjes Chapel. We are a bit confused about the pronunciation of the word Bosjes... But in plain Language it actually means Bossies. Or little bushes. The venue lends itself to a intimate space. But yet quite open.. A must see..

This is just a review of the Venue, and not of the restaurant. If I get the opportunity to go for a meal or stay here I will add to the review. The setting of this venue is really beautiful and there are a whole bunch of interesting structures along wit beautiful gardens filled with indigenous wild plants. Along the way there are beautiful water features and some very nice interesting, and even educational play areas for kids (and the young at heart) which include a wide but relatively short slide, a little zipline with an exhilarating end-stop, some net tunnels, a water screw and water wheel, sand pits and other net features and also some swings and ropes. The kids will definitely be entertained. There is a nice little circular walk up to the thorn tree at the top of the little hill which gives some great views of the surrounding mountains. Also located in such a beautiful area.

Took a drive from Noordhoek to Bosjes today and it was absolutely worth it! What a beautiful setting, beautiful gardens with the most spectacular views! Lunch was magnificent accompanied by 5 star service! Highly recommended! Could only get a booking for 14h15 however got there at about 11:30 and wandered through the beautiful gardens and a chapel so uniquely designed before making our way to the restaurant. Although my husband wanted the pork belly that was no longer available, the chicken was his next choice and I had the fillet which was done just as ordered. Followed by a chocolate fondant and ice cream! Well done team Bosjes will definitely visit you again!

The venue absolutely stunning well worth spending the day or arranging a wedding and taking your kids to play. The main problem is the restaurant, unfortunately the food is really bad. We had the starters soup which was ice cold and the chorizo which wasn’t too bad and the breads were ok but that’s where it ended. The mains were a disaster, I ordered the sirloin steak and asked for medium, it came well done and the steak was like rubber wasn’t edible at all, then asked for it medium and the waitress was irritated with me. Then it came back medium but the steak was still tasteless and like rubber, for the price you’re paying they should consider using aged steaks. Then the real disaster was the madras curry, it was so bad it’s like the chef never cooked a curry in their life, unfortunately we are from Cape Town where we’re used to great curries. We sent it back and ordered the “glazed” pork neck. It came not glazed at all, seemed like it was boiled and had a tomato sauce from a can on it really nasty and had some weird potato cake with it. We then sent it back because it tasted so bad and the hostess came back and said we had to pay for it and they would give it to us as takeaway. It was completely insulting since we would not want to eat that and we were also not being rude to them or anything just trying to give them constructive feedback but they claimed that dish was never ever sent back which I see now online is a complete lie. If they were just able to be open to Honest feedback maybe they could be a better restaurant or the chef can be less arrogant and maybe take the time to hear from paying clients who have traveled the world and know good food or maybe they have a really bad chef who doesn’t know better but it’s a shame, the venue and ambience everything is perfect.

The Chapel and grounds at the estate are absolutely beautiful and certainly worth the drive. However at the Tea garden the service was poor, the scones we had where dry and hard. What a beautiful place. Drove up there from Cape Town on a steaming hot day just to look at the chapel and have a quick bite at the tea garden. There is a great little garden to walk about, the chapel is stunning. The tea garden has a very limited menu - which isnt bad, just important to know - because the restaurant requires booking in advance so you cant just pitch up and be guaranteed a meal. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely going back when I have a reservation at Kombuis.
