Beautiful, serene and romantic place. The cabins both interior and exterior are stunning and there’s just no need to leave the cabin with all the amenities you need for that peaceful time. Would love to do this again soon. Hot tub and fireplace kept it cosy with the cold and wet weather 🥰.Host and staff are very attentive and friendly.

Absolutely AmazingIts soooo worth the money! The views over the dam and mountains were heavenly - picture perfect , whichever way you chose to look. It could even be enjoyed directly from the dam while rowing in one of the complimentary kayaks available to guests or even from one of their beautiful jacuzzis. You simply cant beat this. Each one of the three log cabins we stayed in were superbly appointed and absolutely spotless (cabins 6, 3 and 2). It was comforting to know that our cabins were very thoroughly disinfected and sanitized before our arrival, complying with all Covid 19 protocols. As for the furnishings and fittings - these were all top of the line with absolutely no compromise on quality. What a truly magical experience with small, unexpected artistic points of interest to enjoy throughout!! Thank you so much Mandy and staff. One simply cannot help but to leave Arum Lily feeling rejuvenated!!

We were lucky enough to come across this accommodation while searching for something close to Matroosberg and we werent disappointed. Mandy really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Highlights included:1) You are surrounded by nature, mountains on the one side with views of snow and a lake on the other side.2) Bedding was clean and comfortable.3) Indoor fireplace and air conditioning.4) 2 Showers, 2 toilets and one bath which was perfect for our family.5) Great night time view of the stars and it was genuinely peaceful.6) The outside heated pool on the deck called a kolkol.Although we didnt make use of it, there was an outside private braai area as well as canoes. Would love to bring the kids back again!

It was so beautiful and peaceful. My partner and I was completely blown away. We are quite sad that our holiday came to an end. We did not want to leave.

Given all the great reviews, i was concerned that my expectations would be too high, but they were met and more! Stayed in cabin 2, great combination of farm but modern, cabin kitted out beautifully! Only thing i missed is a nice comfy chair to lounge on the deck. Great option from a covid point of view, as no need to be in any contact with other people! PS:this hot tub may be a bit larger than the others, so takes extra long to heat up (2hrs?) we didnt mind it being cool as it was super hot in January!

Beautiful location, with the wooden log cabins on the edge of the dam. The wood heated jacuzzi on the deck was awesome on the cool winters afternoon! Fantastic views from the deck and from the bathroom. The cabins are very well equipped, maintained and tastefully decorated. Good attention to detail of guest needs.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The cabins exceeded all expectations, which were high already. The dam and surrounds were beyond exquisite - the sunsets were some of the best Ive seen. The cabin itself is so beautifully decorated and was perfectly clean and organized. I love cooking and the kitchen came equipped with everything I needed and more - I was quite surprised to find utensils I wouldnt normally expect to find in a self-catering unit. The staff were lovely too! Coming in to clean dishes etc in the morning (also unexpected!) and to make sure we had wood and knew how everything worked etc. Mandy in the office was also very lovely and helpful. I didnt want to leave! We will definitely 100% be back here. Ive left feeling very at peace and grateful. Thank you !

What a beautiful place! Loved the views, fire places, hot tubs and friendly and helpful service. Spend some time there leading up to our wedding and also took some time after the wedding to enjoy this amazing place. Will definitely recommend it for a romantic breakaway.

Wow is an understatement for this amazing place! Jacuzzi was a highlight for the kiddos and the Victorian style bath tub was a hit with me! I loved the attention to detail like the neatly wrapped towels with a treat on top and the free sugar, coffee, tea, rusks, milk and two crates of wood was a plus too! The fireplace was great to cuddle by on the couch overlooking the sunset as it started drawing colder towards the evening. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend it to friends and family!

Stayed here for 2 nights, the stairs to the bedroom were scary so i had to moderate my alcohol consumption not wanting to navigate these 60 degree stairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The fire heated hit tub outside is awesome though.

A beautiful, intimate relaxing place. Amazing cabins along side a like. Enjoy colourful sunsets on a canoe. They have everything you need and you are sure to be very well looked after.

The log cabins on the dam look great but we stayed in the cottage and we were disappointed: needs some real TLC / refreshen up, limited kitchen facility, highway that you can hear, loads of flies (with no citronella candles provided) etc... Not amazing value for money (sorry).Maybe we should have booked the cabins.

I had been wanting to visit Arum Lily Cabins for such a long while, and my time finally came when we recently spent 2 nights there for our honeymoon. And wow, what a place! We enjoyed every minute. The cabin was exquisite, the outside shower super relaxing, and the hot tub was just fantastic! We shall certainly be back!

Fantastic stay! Never have I had the pleasure of staying at a place that is so well prepared. Everything was perfect!

Cozy and comfy cottage with everything that you need to have a relaxed getaway. The kitchen has all the equipment that you need. You need to bring your own groceries and pack in some wood and Firestarters. The views are beautiful. The cottage has comfy couches and blankets for lazy afternoon napping. I would advise bringing something for the mosquitoes and bugs, you are on a farm after all. Lovely for a honeymoon weekend celebration or just a getaway from the city.

Beautiful luxury log cabins with a small swimming pool that can be heated with a wooden kettle. Located next to a dam with canoes for rowing. Its a tranquil place that will definitely relax you.

From walking in the door ..... wow. The accommodation is awesome. The attention to detail, the views, the things on hand. You cannot NOT relax. We saw otters, the friendly ducks came to visit. Beautiful bird life. Lovely walks, a wine farm on your door step (with free wine tasting). Were very sad to leave so soon and will be returning soon.Thank you Mandy for providing a little piece of heaven for all to share.

A home away from home. Very relaxing. Top class accommodation

Beautiful accommodation near Wolseley and Olive Rock wedding venue. We stayed for a weekend and thought the cabin that we stayed in was stunning complete with hot tub, bath and outside shower for the main bedroom. Our cabin slept 6, not sure which number it was though. Literally right on the dam/little lake. Amazing views. We had an issue with our hot water not working but only due to another person in our party pulling out a plug upstairs so make sure you leave all plugs in place. It turned off the wifi too! Suggestion to the owners - maybe post a sign on that plug to let guests know not to unplug it.

After 4 years we returned to this special place, even better now than the first time. We enjoyed total privacy around our cottage (#2), we relaxed in the hot tub every evening and had the deepest sleep, nature all around, the dam, the mountains, the sunset. Just perfect romantic days for two. And dont miss the Waverley Hills winery for lazy lunches just around the corner! Pure relaxation, enjoy.

So on my way home I felt a need to go back. The stay was amazing. The cabins are outfitted with everything you could possibly need. The environment is quiet and beautiful. The in and out is simple. No need to book in as the whole process is automated. A first for me and I love it. Everything about the experience was amazing and, if they will have me back, I would love to bring more people to experience the same wonders I did. Special thanks to Mandy, Patrick, Koos and our 4-legged companions Casper, Plato and Boetie who showed us around their beautiful backyard.

Comfortable beautiful, were some problems but were quickly sorted out. The 2 sleeper unit is close to a noisy pump which can run all day and night depending on dam level
