Elro Meubels is also the home of Houtkewer Koffiewinkel (Wood Beetle Coffee Shop) where excellent country food is served in a most homely setting. The closest a tourist can get to regional living! Eating indoors or in the courtyard. Entrance at Elro furniture factory store. They also have small boutique and beauty salon activities in there as well as a gift and jewellery shop. Linger a while, enjoy great food and lovely coffee. More than a furniture store! Oh, the bathrooms are very clean as well. A bit of finesse comes in handy. ☺ I would suggest a visit also to tour groups over and above this restaurant being the best choice in food for both locals and visitors. Only 90 min from Cape Town and in between Worcester, Tulbach or Ceres. The Tramezzini with salad is sumptuous and tasty but so is the breakfast that can be ordered at any time. Owner Wilna will prepare food for diabetics upon request. Guests can bring their own wine, as the off-sales is situated conveniently across the road.
