Beautiful setting, very reasonably priced and great service. Da Loose Mongoose has a quaint country feel with 4 star restaurant quality menu. Very child friendly, with facilities including a fully equipped play area, including a bycicle, skateboard ramp and jumping castle. A nice private bar for those who simply want to catch a sundowner or a couple drinks. Great for business functions, birthday parties or taking that special someone on romantic outing

Relaxing atmosphere. Good food and service. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and the meat was moist and tender. For dessert I had a chocolate volcano cake which was Devine. Waiting time is quite long but the food is worth the wait.

The perfect table for the the galactic traveller, food was outstanding, views and restaurant amazing. Just north of Nelspruit near White River, not off the beaten track and easy to find, plenty of inside and outside room to side and relax, childrens play area, even a skate park for those 40+ willing to still olli, food outstanding, coke cola ice cold. Will love to go back again.

Our first experience at Da Loose Mongoose was a shocker, we wrote it up to being in a big group and a bad day. BUT we decided to return and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was great. Love, love, love the pizzas. Sitting under the trees and smelling the great food gives you the feeling of being in the Italian countryside. Great place for people with children who likes to run. This has become a monthly outing for my family. I definitely recommend this haven.

Fabulous meals in a fabulous setting. Fish and chips was fabulous, so soft and tasty. Steak and basil pesto salad was absolutely brilliant!!! Chicken curry and the babotie was super tasty. Absolutely perfect.

Just got out from this restaurant and got bad treatment from one of the customers, who was even pulling zap signs at me, we asked for the manager and told of the events that transpired, and she said she had never been confronted with this situation before, so she doesnt know how to deal with this situation. I told her I completely understand her dilemma and thus would never come to her restaurant again, infact never even recommend it to any other black person to go. I dont see why I must go support business where I am treated as a second class citizen because of the color of my skin.

Okay, where does one start? I choose to call this why small businesses stay small. Lack of diversity, conflict management and entrepreneurship goals will always force such businesses to stay small and eventually close down. My wife and I were told about this place at my wifes workplace. This effectly meant more business for the place. Heres the sad part, we actually liked this place, the menus great... We had great pizza 🍕 and chicken livers so perfected, I was ready to tell my peers about it. But the kak attitude we got from this one customer who kept swearing at my wife, and when we tell the store manager to ask the guy to stop this unacceptable behavior, she said cant do anything about it either..? Thats when we knew this is our first and last, I strongly believe you can treat people equally, with respect and just that will generate more support than the support you thinking of not loosing at that moment as a manager at the expense of your business growth... Small business owners becareful of loosing the moon trying to count the stars.

Lovely place but utterly spectacular food! Perfect balances of flavours and textures, fresh and exquisite ingredients. Broad accomodating menu and good pricing. Frankly I was blown away by the meal. Recommend the carrapacio.

Room for improvement,the entertainmen unit/radio to be lifted or moved out of sight,indoor lights to be a little brighter to see the food better,and also too look on placing q or two alcohol free beer on the menu.

Stunning place to relax with friends and good food.

The setting is lovely but the service was incredibly slow. We waited 1h30 for our main meal without any updates from our waitor. My pasta was cold. They didnt have enough of the one dessert item to fill our order. The desserts when then brought with cream as they had run our of ice cream and neglected to tell us. The desserts which had obviously been warmed up from frozen were not fully warmed up and the position sizes were tiny. To top it all off we then waited 2o min for the waitor to bring the card machine so we could pay. I would not recommend this restaurant despite its pretty setting.
