I went to madTECH because incredible connection / game had no idea what a kettle power cord looked like were too lazy to look however the person at madTECH were closed but the person took their time to help me out. If there were a 10 star option theyd get it. Id highly recommend this store if youd like computer help.

Great personal service and back up

Where to start?I needed a RAM upgrade in my mothers HP laptop, from 4GB to 8GB, as well as an upgrade to an SSD.I did a google search of the model number of the laptop, which was on a label on the underside of the laptop.HP.com specified DDR3L, low voltage RAM.Gerrie and Timothy tried combining normal DDR3 with the 4GB DDR3L and reporting that the RAM was not registering. *facepalm.My mother had to educate them that the laptop wont take more than 8GB RAM, again found out from HP.com. She then asked them if the RAM they were trying to install was low voltage.Empty facial expressions.My mother took a Windows 10 installation media USB flash drive that she made to have the 64 bit Windows 10 Pro (that WAS on the laptop) to be installed. Gerrie and his team installed 32 bit Windows 10 Home...... which will not read more than 4GB RAM... making the first exercise of installing 8GB RAM null and void anyway.Gerrie and Timothy, you need to wake up and smell the coffee, were trying to support local businesses.Avoid this place like you would avoid COVID-19.

Excellent customer service from Timothy. He called back several times to update me on an order and provided a better solution than I asked for. He was also very helpful in store to upgrade my laptop and went out of his way to demonstrate tips on making my system faster. Thank you!
