The area around Riverbend Gardens is advantageous for everyone that enters Riverbend Gardens. It has a fresh breeze and is situated in a safe and comfortable environment.

Student village. Not kept well.

Very, very high crime rate.The lack of security has led to countless break-ins, thefts, assault and recently as of the 14th of September the death of someone shot at gunpoint.To add to that there are absolutely no rules or any management. The place is filthy on any given day. Anyone can access the premises. Drugs are used openly, loud music and parties and all sorts of things go on as the inhabitants please.I strongly recommend that you find yourself a safer and much more homely place for yourself.

Its not that bad just that there isnt a place where you could chill with your Friends like a bar or a park.

The crime has gone down greatly since last mid last year. Its really peaceful and breath of fresh air with police visibility continuously.

Ah ah ah mo ke ko Mareteng!Worst place to be. High level of house breakings, robberies and hijacking. Crime is too high in this place and it is the students (mostly NWU students) who are feeling it the most... probably 99% of students who have lived here have been victims or have lost one or two personal possessions or belongings (laptop, cellphone, devices, etc). The authorities (including the nearest Police Station) knows very well about the crimes happening in this place but they are not doing enough about it. Drugs & weed are also sold in this place... its craze man. It should be changed from Riverbend Gardens to Little-Hell Risen... DONT STAY HERE... i am a victim myself. Ke tsene ka February di 9.... ka tswa ka di 14!..

Preferably for students, the place has zero security, no access control, no body corprate so it untidy and has no structure to resolve issues of the residents.

Affordable student accommodation

Amazing quite placr

I havent stayed there but once visited friends.The place is just ok for students who are gonna stay there for few couples of year and leave after getting their qualifications.There are business opportunities for services needed by students.But its untidy and most houses are neglected by owners as no gardening is barely done on respective yards.
