As always....the best food, prepared and presented to perfection. The snails were so expertly prepared, I almost finished it before remembering to take pics! The hake was divine - juicy and perfectly coated and seasoned served with fluffy mash and smooth lemon butter. The lemon grenadilla cheesecake was beautifully presented and just the right size. Great and efficient service by the waiter making sure this was an absolutely delicious afternoon!

Had a wonderful and cozy evening. The service was impeccable and so were the food and drinks. The menu is reasonably priced as well. Ample parking and there is security which puts you at ease. Ill definitely be recommending this place and visiting again soon! 👍🏾

Urban eatery was great, even though it started off a bit shakey. With not carrying out the things I had requested the previous day when I went to have breakfast and see the venue to give specifications.But when it came to the food we were served if ever you want to have a dinner for a large group, a cosy date night or brunch with friends[Ive done all three] its the place to go!Once the food was served all was forgiven they provided a great service.Try it out you wont regret it...

Thai prawn curry 4 shrimps and a lot of sauce definitely not worth R145. Eisbein and chicken wings overcooked and very dry. Booze out of stock. Will give it a miss next time.

The food was excellent. The service was ok but i did not like the change of waiter halfway though our meal.At some stage there was a commotion with very loud argumentative discussion between the barman and another worker which was disturbing because one goes out to have a relaxing meal without any issues. I assume this was just an isolated event.Otherwise i will definitely recommend eating there and i will definitely go back there myself. I enjoyed the wine cellar decor in the area where we were seated.

I love this place, the staff is always friendly. Pricing is affordable. The only down side is that the owner might throw you with his packet of Dulas.. all in good sport. I would recommend this place to any and everyone 👍

Since you opened, I had nothing but amazing meals, service and atmosphere and 5 stars were the going rate from me. But....something went sooooo wrong tonight! Being a business owner myself, I am giving a 1 star not to criticize, but to ask for attention from the owner. I know you can not be there all the time, but you need to know what is cooking when you are not there. This is one of the few great places in this upside down town I have grown up in. Please contact me and allow me to share my experience with you, and prevent us from staying away due to one bad experience out of 20.

Good food, good service. The wait staff need to sell this place more. After we sat down and asked for recommendations, we almost left because our waitress wasnt convincing enough and got tongue tied. But we decided time give it a try and it was well worth the trip from Joburg.

Lots of fun good food and friendly service

First off, EXCELLENT FOOD! We ordered the creamy prawn pasta and the the Mobster pizza - both were super delicious! The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is because of a few things:• The menu said the pizza was served with rocket, and it didnt come with any. It also said the Creme Brûlée was served with a biscuit, but it didnt. Also, the portion sizes were a tad bit small.• The restaurant is divided in smoking and non-smoking sections, but they are like completely different restaurants. The non-smoking section is old-fashioned and doesnt have any atmosphere. We eventually moved to the smoking section, and just sat close to the door - it was awesome. It is modern, vibey and even had live music.

Have the basics of great food, service and atmosphere well executed. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and the waiter and manager regularly check on one ensuring nothing is amiss.

Service great food fantastic! decor mmhh can do wit an upgrade inside. Had to sit inside because of the weather. Acoustics really bad if you have a loud bunch next to you. Bar side needs defenate upgrade.

After reading raving reviews I dont know what happened with our food yesterday!The eisbein tasted like a warmed up left over from the previous night, the crumbed mushroom starter was oily and the faccacia hard and cold. When I mementioned my displeasure to the manager, he just pulled up his shoulders. Really didnt enjoy my experience there.

Wow! What an awesome experience! I am not a local, however wish I was!!!! I popped in unexpectedly in a big rush - I explained to the waiter that I am not well and in a big hurry just needed a quick bite to eat. I told him a few of the ingredients I was allowed and asked if they could accommodate one very fussy customer (not really fussy just on a eating program for my health) the waiter was so friendly and said he would see what they can arrange! I was blown away when my lunch arrived and even took a pic to share with you! Thank you chef Morena Myloi and Vincent (another waiter) for going the extra mile to make my experience so magical! Thank you for understanding my predicament ! I will def be back when in the area again - and look forward to trying another of your creations on the menu!

We had a lovely time there. Waiters was good, 4 out of the 5 meals was great, mine was rotten. The rib and wings combo. Didnt wanted to make an issue, as we where there with the kids. There ribs is old the wings is dry, ribs had a rotten smell to it. The basting sous is just vinegar. Not a nice meal, the rest was great. Great set up. Would suggest to take of the ribs and wings off your menu.

Well all I can say is brilliant great waiter service, very professional management..food is excellent.There is always room for improvement in any business.But my family is allways happy to eat there.So its a real pleasure.They have my vote.I recommend this restaurant any day....RegardsNeil Little

Despite serious flooding due to the hectic hail storm yesterday, still had an amazing Eisbein!

Good food does not make up for super bad service!!!!!!Ice melted in glass before drinks arrive. Dirty tables with sticky mess from trees. Kids food last to arrive. Endless list of problems. Not happy at all.

Incredibly and lovely place, great atmosphere

I ordered the ribs and wings combo. The ribs were incredibly dry and the meat itself tasted like low quality pork. I would have even gone as far as to say that the ribs were a day or two old. My friend order the four seasons pizza and the dough was soggy and the pizza itself was tasteless .It has a very nice set up, great place for drinks and to watch sport but the food is below par. I would never eat here again.

Very nice place. Nice food. A bit more expensive than the average place in the area. The quiz night is also very enjoyable (Thursdays).
