It was my 1st time there, I booked a table yesterday bcoz I didnt know if I can just pop in or not, I was treated like royalty as we walked in they were like Ms Happy Hi!, before I could even tell them my name,good location, more than enough parking space, good atmosphere,I liked the water feature. Staff members are professional, helpful & friendly. Gary was our waiter he was respectful & friendly, we are definitely going back there.

Great restaurant, great vibes both inside and outdoors. Their cocktails are beautiful and delicious. The food is amazing. Great portion sizes for the price. Loved every moment of my visit to Rio Sol on my birthday. My waiter Ryan was very nice. 5 stars for Ryan! (Visited 3/10/2020)

First time visited in a while (after leaving spur for bad/rude staff) was pleasantly surprised by the great waiter service and food was really nice! RIO SOL serves a much better steak than Three Rivers spur thats for sure

What a wonderful restaurant. Mozart was our patron. He was polite, patient and ever ready to serve. The food was very tasty indeed. Prices are reasonable. Sadly the restaurant is not busy as it normally would be. Covid has caused many businesses to close downA good experience indeed and a large variety of meals to select from. Spoil yourself!

Food is horrible, although the steak was rare as ordered the taste was horrible and sour, the chicken snitchel tasted like old bread and the mushroom sauce was sour as well and dit not have that wonderful mushroom flavour at all. No wonder the place was empty. This used to be my favorite restaurant in the vaal but sadly the quality of food has dropped to a distasteful level

Good prawns but sole was small, not great and overpriced. Very good service. Manager was not interested in complaint about the sole.

This experience was so great wanted to keep it a secret. Came across it by accident and will be returning. Had the best seafood inland ever. The Menu has something for everyone. Spoiled for choice it was difficult to choose. Bonus points to the Owner you get to choose from a variety of seating options according to your taste. Extremely friendly staff and great service. Paid a fraction of the going rate for lobster and prawns at some 5 star rated Restaurants and this little gem of a place delivered better quality. Hope to return soon.

An outstanding restaurant! Scrumptious food, polite staff and managers, unique interior and much more! A nit-pick I have is that the dishes are a little on the expensive side...but honestly the food is worth the price!

Great starters, trio of Calamari and Trio of Snails, superb. Followed by a Carne Pizza with extra chilli. Great eating, great service and cold draft, couldnt ask for better.

This used to be our date night spot when we lived in the Vaal, enjoying their delicious prawns with a glass of wine.We went there to celebrate my dads birthday tonight.Everyone decided to try something different, from their seafood platters to steak, pizza, stuffed calamari tubes, snails, salad and crème brûléé...Every bite of every dish was absolutely mouth-watering!!The service is beyond amazing complimented by such a relaxing vibe!Definitely one of the best go-to spots in the Vaal! 👌

How can I even begin to explain how wonderful this place is, the food is just so absolutely mouth watering and the food smells absolutely devine, the painted walls just look so beautiful and it is a very romantic and beautiful place to have a meal I would recommend this place to anyone who asks about tbis place the prawns is my favorite!! 100/10 for this place, also their koi look very healthy and beautiful!

It is not that I disliked it totally. My previous experience was good. The last time we actually just went in. As soon as we got a table the waiter told us that the kitchen will close soon (and being parents of 3 kids we NEVER get alone time). We didnt want to feel rushed and decided to go to Fandangos whose kitchen stays open much later!

One of the best restaurants in the vaal, they actually pay attention to how good the food is rather than the quantity of it! At the end of meal one feels full yet ready for more! The desserts are really tasty, but an improvement in comfort would not be alien

We had a Fantastic evening at Rio Sol. The decor is welcoming and homely. We enjoyed the Double Up on Prawns Special. The place was packed and the friendly, efficient staff were on the ball making us feel at home. The prawns were superb, juicy and flavorsome.The food was very good and would certainly suggest a visit if you are in the area.

Amazing food. Good service. I reccomend the pizza, the Ingredients are fresh and its just simply delicious. After your meal I really recommend the bar one cake. Its delicious.

The food at Rio Sol is of excellent quality! The Restaurant is clean and looks really great, whilst we feel safe with the kids playing outside as the play area has been fenced off.The last time we went the service was slightly below the norm at Rio Sol, since the waiter didnt speak very clearly and in, what appeared to be, a foreign accent. The waiter was friendly though and we were served quickly and no mistakes were made with the orders.
