Good prices, good service

It was a very bad experience. Firstly the man (Amed) giving us the equipment we paid for, was extremely rude. Then we had to wait for more than 45min for them to change a order that they had wrong. Lastly when we left I decided to just count all and made sure we had everything. We ordered 20 magnetic catchers and only got 18. I will NEVER return to this place. They can also know that Ill share bad word of mouth to all my friends in carpeting.

Very disappointed in the service I received on Saturday, 15 May 2021. I asked for assistance and was told to give sizes of my cutting list. I told them I have the sizes and height of cabinets I want, but the lady insisted I give her the exact sizes on a cutting list.. Guys, you arein the trade to assist and ask questions on exactly what the customers needs are.I have dealt with Lumber City and Buco in the past, and they assisted me thoroughly, asked questions and gave advise and cut the boards to the exact mm.. Didnt expect this type of poor service from PBC

The service is good and fast, and the workers are friendly. Theyre always prepared to assist. The surroundings are clean and covid 19 regulationsare practiced.

I am very very disappointed in this place. It has great potential and perhaps other branches are better. My review is based only on my experience with the vereeniging branch.I have shopped here twice to the tune of almost R20k and I will not spend my money here again.Their products are great, their showroom is beautiful and their prices are actually very competitive. However, that is where my proase for them ends.My first order was placed on the 2nd of March 2019. I was promised that the boards would be cut and edged within 5 days and I booked my carpenters on day 7. I waswas promised an SMS to update me on the progress of my boards and I was very happy about it.I never received my SMS after 6 days and I personally drove to the branch to check on the progress as my carpenters were arriving the following morning. It took me 30 minutes to get service from the counter, only to be sent to the back factory at collections to check on the goods. I met much more friendly staff there but they could not find my order. Eventually, 2 hours later I was told that there had been no power over the weekend and that my boards were not ready. At that point in time, I went to see the manager Mr Riaz Patel to ask when I would then expect my boardsboards. I have never been treated with such disregard by a manager in any other establishment as that. He kept me standing as he spoke on the phone with someone else regarding wages for his employees for more that 10 minutes. He then proceeded to tell me that he could not promise not estimate the time it would take to get the boards ready and that I should not have come if I did not receive an SMS.I then left disheartened and hoped that it would be another day or two before my boards were ready. However, when all was said and done, I only received my boards on the 22nd of March almost a month since order for a relatively small job.I swallowed my pride however and thought that perhaps my job was too small. Two weeks later, I placed an order for a much bigger amount. I thought that perhaps this would give me some sort of prioritization. Before placing this order, I went to Mr Riaz Patel first and asked him if the issues he was having with the machines and or labor were now resolved. Again, he would not commit himself to any sort of deadline and wanted me to just accept that the boards would be in as long as they needed to be.Fortunately, I had not paid for my order yet and I was prepared to walk away. However when he realized this, he promised me a 5 day delivery, promising to bring in a night shift to have the job done if he needed to. I left feeling very reassured and gave my money away with a smile.On the 6th day as usual I made my way to PBC and of course, my boards were not done. I was in the shop from 9am till 1pm just following up on my backorder and my boards. The staff at reception are just not willing to go the extra mile but will send you from pillar to post to look for documents or status. I was disgusted by this. I still received no SMS notice for my job status and when I asked the manager he very rudely told me that I should maybe give them the right number next timeIt is now day 8 and I have decided to take my boards with no edging whatsoever and cut my losses. I have paid my carpenter twice for a call out fee because of this company.I will not be shopping here again and if you are in a hurry or are looking for good service save your time and money ang go elsewhere. You will be disappointed especially if you require edging.

Below standard service and rude. Why have 2 people to buy from and I lost 3hours of work because no one could just tell me to go to pay counter to collect invoice. Its always been a nightmare to collect stuff. My word have everything ready for the client!!!! They cost me more than 3 hours labour. And really no assistance and proper info of where you should go. Bad bad bad.

Fast and friendly service

Dont know what happened to this place. But would recommend going somewhere else. Service is useless and slow. Cut sizes the get wrong almost every timeNot to talk about the accessories department, standing around packing away their groceries the other one leaning on the counter and one working. Tons of cameras in the place and they cant see how useless they are.
