A must go to for women who love to sew. A gem. Very affordable and variety is vast. Material for anything you want to sew. Carpets, linen and even household items. A coffee shop in store with TVs is good for the non shoppers.Most staff are helpful.

As a first time visitor this place is proper jaw-dropping big! I thought it is only a material and sewing shop but it is basically a mini Makro in terms of sheer volume and diversity of stock. If you cant find a sewing related item or type of material here, dont bother looking anywhere else. And to top it all off, theres a coffee shop inside with super competitive prices. Very impressed 👌✂️☕

A treasure chest of fabric, linen, haberdashery and other household items under one roof! My main issues are in terms of some fabric being very flawed and no compromise on cutting or prices in such cases and the way in which customers are almost being chased out of the store almost an hour before closing time. The ladies cutting the fabric and most cashiers provide great service. The ladies working at the haberdashery side, not at all.

I loved the place and Im not a designer but hubby&lace made me a designer soo in love with the fabric I bought to make a hand made tutu dress for my baby girl, Im soo excited that she is turning 4 on the 8th of September and with the help of hubby&lace Ive managed to make her a dress....i wish hubby&lace will help me celebrate her birthday and every shopper of hubby&lace 💖 💖 just a little disappointment that I had to revisit the shop because I was misguided by a stuff in tulle area at first I went to her with a photo of kind of tutu I needed and she told me that for a 4 year old I need only one meter to make tutu dress according to the picture i showed her, and I bought four Metters that day and when I was making my tutu.. I discovered that four meters is not even enough I drive back 35 kilometers to the shop to buy another 4 meters now Im satisfied with what I needed..

The staff in the materials section were friendly and helpful and assisted me when there wasnt enough material to choose from to find a similar choice for the same price. They make you feel welcome in their store and the staff on floor help you with any queries you may have overall a great experience.

Its awesome and the help you get is great, especually in the wool section. I was helped by the lady to match the colours i needed in such a warm and welcoming way, she even went to the stoorroom to get me something i needed. wow, what great service!!! 💕

A womans dream place. Might be a mans nightmare, but there is a coffee shop for them.They have everything from materials to kitchen decorations to bedding to wool and everything. Their fleece blanket material is such a good price! Cant find it in Cape Town for that price.

Great variety of home items from the kitchen to the lounge to the bedroom. There is a large assortment of items that any house could use. I knew it as the place to buy material to make clothes but it has expanded into all areas of the house. Carpets can also be bought here. There is also a little restaurant inside if one gets tired of all the shppping. Prices are reasonable and quality is great.

Was very disappointed yesterday.Material marked down very bad stains and holes. Ended up taking more expensive fabrics as none had 9 meters +. Then when you get something on 5 different fabrics they cant cut.....normal material and no more stock. (Cheesecloth )I shop every 2nd and 3rd week for my business and this was a very unproductive shopping day.

You can buy anything and everything for your home deco and soft furnishings. You dont want to leave this store. This is a beautiful store with exclusive home soft furnishings
