Last week I visited Elpar for the first time after. While they were right at the beginning of the intersection, I did not know about them because most of the time I either drove straight past or turned left from them. I got to know about them after being referred to them by Goldwagen who are about 200m down the road. They are an electrical parts shop. The clerk whose name I regret to have not gotten went out of his way to assist me. He was intrigued with the projects I was undertaking. Apart from assisting me with ideas on one of the projects, he threw in two parts for free for another as he said he did not need them anyway. I could tell that he was just being nice in saying so because the parts were new and I was prepared to pay for them. He was helping me on in his curiosity with what I was doing. It is rare to find such cooperation in the country, especially considering that Vereeniging is not my hometown and that I had just been shown similar kindness at and by Goldwagen.
